Suprising fact from GCN. Ineos have never won a race where Pogacar has startedWhat do you mean? 7 watts/kg on Ventoux by Pogi? Or 3 Ineos drones on the podium following Slovenians' crashes?
I undrstood it a bit differently. Not only did they not win - they never classified higher in GC than Pogacar in any stage race where he started. Nor did they classify higher than Roglic for than matter (Sky did though..).Suprising fact from GCN. Ineos have never won a race where Pogacar has started
They tried to solve the problem by buying all of the riders who won a stage race Pogacar rode in 2020 (apart from Pog himself).I undrstood it a bit differently. Not only did they not win - they never classified higher in GC than Pogacar in any stage race where he started.

They said that Tour 2018 was the last stage race INEOS won with either Roglič or Pogačar on the startlist. Since then the've won 19 stage races, but none when at least one of the two Slovenians was participating.I undrstood it a bit differently. Does anyone know if the slovenian national time trial championships are today or tomorrow?

Pogi thought it was only one lap. He can't win Slovenian TT championships even without Roglic. Is he good enough tocrush the Tour rivalsdeliver bidons to Majka? Peak at the ToS confirmed.
He did beat him (and also won the year before) so this loss is even more surprising. The course was completely flat though (as opposed to previous years).Didn’t he beat Roglic last year in the Nats TT
- J Tratnik (Bahrain)
- J Polanc (UAE)
- T Pogačar (UAE)

He will lose a bit of time to others in the two ITT's at the TDF which will lead to more exciting racing as he will need to ride an attacking race.

Why is he participating if not for winning. Its an ITT not as if he could tow his teammates for the winPolanc beat him, its quite obvious he wasnt going full gas
Could be true but I hope not. In any case if he or his team was confident of his form why would he need to resort to such tactics. There is no need to sandbag a 40 minute TT in his situation. The heat explanation makes more sense. We will see.Sandbagging
