Most impressive thing I’ve seen since Contador in Verbier and they was over. shorter and more explosive timeframe. This was a Contador attack followed by a robobasso mountain time trial.

insane and so gutsy!

So, when will Pogacar win the GT treble? Or will he only manage the double?

I expect him to try Giro-Tour double already next year.

Mesmerising performance today, he almost sentenced the race. He now needs to avoid all risks possible and focus on the GC win (maybe one or two more stages if the circumstances arise).

already 4 1/2 minutes on the closest real GC threat.

i forget who it was here that said months ago that this would be a dominating win with unusually large differences for modern times... ;-)

Armstrong 2001 is a more recent example of the same.

How did the UAE riders who were behind know that Pogacar had gone solo from the favourite group?
When it started being all Slovenian on the race radio!

Congrats to Tadej on his second TDF (no, I don't think crashes or bad luck are a risk, in this form Colbrelli would just bounce off him and land in the opposite ditch).

Of course, in the absence of Padun this result will always have an asterisk against it, but you can only beat what's in front of you and he's dominated in all respects. And perhaps it's the start of a new era of the sort of dominance not seen since he-who-must-not-be-named. The rest of the GC contenders have been crushed.
