He needs to overcome something tough before I can cheer on him. A hero needs a struggle.

TDF 2022. I liked him before more or less.
last July I became a fan. I want him and UAE to beat Jumbo
You really like him or is it only because he's a significant hurdle to Jumbo, a team you want more people to dislike?
The picture he included said alot more about Boonen and his team than Colnago. Fortunately the bike survives without more explanation.Boonen apologizes Colnago:

No surprise, he annoyed the whole tour and probably got an offer he couldn't refuse!
He’s fun to watch. He’s not my favorite rider, but I don’t root against anyone. Hell I can even sort of root for Froome to at least show a little bit of form these days. I’m a Mas fan, but I can still appreciate Roglic and not root for him to lose today because Mas/Landa ain’t going to out sprint him in any case. You really like him or is it only because he's a significant hurdle to Jumbo, a team you want more people to dislike?
I think great appetite is to be applauded, wanting to win everywhere and every day. That is also why the critique of Bruyneel is so backwards. We got riders like Pogchamp and many more (Mathieu, Wout, Remco, Pidcock e.g.) who just ride on instinct, who ride like they could give two sh!ts about tomorrow. That should be applauded. They couldn't promote cycling better if they tried.
Instead there are boomers who are still stuck in 2002 where the TDF is be-all and end-all.
He has a busy schedule. And now he even added E3 to his races. Is he expending to much energy before the Tour?
I think it looks crazier because it’s all one day races - if he was doing Catalunya or Basque Country instead the same number of race days wouldn’t look crazy at allHe has a busy schedule. And now he even added E3 to his races. Is he expending to much energy before the Tour?

Seventh win of the season so far. On target to reach 10 wins by the end of the spring.

Only put a minute into a sick Simon Yates, 3kg overweight Jonas and the poor mans TJ Van Garderen. An average display!
Hopefully all the big guns will be there at E-3. That race is by far the second best race of the Belgian cobble classics, so Im thrilled about that one. Its a great race for Pog.He has a busy schedule. And now he even added E3 to his races. Is he expending to much energy before the Tour?
