This looks great! He seems to be pushing as hard as ever. This is very reassuring.
Read a tweet that he overtook five riders and almost overtook another one (that one rider just finished before Pog by half a wheel I think). Don't know if the rider who just finished before him was the fifth one or he almost overtook a sixth rider.I wonder how many guys he overtook during ITT?
Didnt he beat Rog in 2020 after he changed bikes amd Roglic didnt?Bike change in a national championship, that's a first.

Kind of unfair to be honest.Bike change in a national championship, that's a first.
Why? He needs to practice bike change somewhereKind of unfair to be honest.
In the clip you saw a line for a changing zone so I thinkt everyone could.Kind of unfair to be honest.
Didn't know this was also with a bike change, thanks.Didnt he beat Rog in 2020 after he changed bikes amd Roglic didnt?
Of course you can change your bike. Change it as many times as you want. As long as the bikes are on the car.In the clip you saw a line for a changing zone so I thinkt everyone could.
As you said, mentally it's super difficult but one can simulate high intensity and large duration indeed. He definitely was trying to stay as fit as possible but I'm not really sure how a dedicated training weeks before a GT look like (I suppose there's a larger number of higher-zone workouts than normally). The ITT today showed that his anaerobic threshold isn't affected by the injury. But the impact on his performance and recovery during difficult stages of a long race is unknown yet (one can hope that the base training that he's done since last autumn is enough for that).

Not every rider has the budget of also having both a TT-bike and a regular bike, I saw many riders only going with their regular bikes, in this specific time trial it wouldn't have mattered since he was levels above everyone else but my personal opinion is that it is more fair if there are no bike changes in national TT.In the clip you saw a line for a changing zone so I thinkt everyone could.
I understand. But as this is meant as preparation race for him I guess the were not concerned by competitors but how to simulate GT circumstances? Not every rider has the budget of also having both a TT-bike and a regular bike, I saw many riders only going with their regular bikes, in this specific time trial it wouldn't have mattered since he was levels above everyone else but my personal opinion is that it is more fair if there are no bike changes in national TT.
The whole train low - live high idea is that you can get better training at sea level then reap the benefits when sleeping at altitude, which I think is still the strategy most use today. He could go down the mountain to ride his trainer though so yeah idk.I feel a bit stupid for never having thought of this but if Pogacar would have spent more time on altitude without the injury, why didn't he do his home training at altitude? The way I understand altitude training, it should work just as well on a home trainer in a hotel room in Sierra Nevada, right? What am I missing here?
It's more perfect to van der poel.
Pogi to go with mvdp over the last climb like RVV and then work like a slave with him to the line, taking second after mvdp and putting a gap between a chasing wout and Jonas. The first stage is perfectly suited for Poga.

Anyone know where to watch the slovenian nationals?
Trentin was very good in Dauphine. He is still good enough to go for a stage-win or something.Tell me Trentin will be part of the team in Tour. Can't believe they are not taking him to put Novak there.
