Accelerating harder out of the corner to close the gap. Not exactly a difficult concept to understand.
So he was taking the corners pretty well then... and is a pretty good bike handler. Which you said that he wasnt post his crash.

So again... what are you really trying to say? Just making things up.

He isn´t taking the corners as well as MVP, WVA and Pedersen. Lost a couple of meters. Had to spend more energy accelerating out of the corner to close the gap. Can only hope that you are just intentionally obtuse and not as braindead as your post suggests.
But that wasnt was being argued though!

You said he wasnt a good bike handler, when he clearly is. Just something you have set your mind on.

He wasnt losing time in the corners. If anything he was using his skills to accelerate.

Also, after that insult our discussion is done anyway.

Dishs out but cannot take it. I only respond in kind. You started with a strawman (never stated that he would have beaten MVP) and followed it up by claiming that I was just making things up. But sure you are taking the high road. Clown...
I wasnt dishing anything out. I was questioning your claim. You are making it personal, while flip-flopping and keeps throwing personal insults. I wont stoop as low.

Strawman to start it off followed by claiming that I am just making stuff up. That´s how you question a claim? Get of your high horse. You started the entire argument because you ridiculed/mocked another post/poster.
A normal response would have been. I don´t think so. I disagree. Not "You are just making things up".

Thats not what happened here. Again, this is your own interpretation. Same as your claim. You chose to go down the personal insult route. Anything you say after that is kind of pointless.

Go back to the initial post and your first post. Where did I mention MVP? Who claimed that I was making things up before I ever responded in kind? Maybe a case of selective amnesia?

Can he podium the TT? Looks like a bit hilly, maybe with this form even for the win? Because I never thought he would also race the TT, but after watching the course I’m thinking he can do really good there aswell.

This was my response "Nah... this feels like an overreaction or trying to see something that isnt. He was not better nor worse than anyone else.

He stayed in the front the whole time... he wasnt losing positions. To me the tells that he probably took the corners pretty well. Otherwise, he would have lost positions and constantly having to move up."

The other part of my post was just adding commentary. Why would you get hung up on that? Again, your own interpretation. Just keep going with the insults as well.

Looks pretty rouleur friendly. Less technical. Few hills shouldn´t be a problem for bigger engines (most difficult is less than 1km / 5.8%). Certainly wouldn´t bet on it.

Pog nearly fainted an hour after the race and had to be checked out by a doctor. Don't think that's a good sign for the ITT.

woohoo, he really went deep today. Maybe skipping the TT and having more post Tour rest isnt a bad idea. He will likely lose to a few guys anyway.

Of course you aren´t going to mention the part where you claimed that I was just making things up. Doesn´t fit your moral high ground narrative.
I said in my post that I thought you was overreacting and seeing things that isnt... with your claim. It is actually right there for you to read. The rest of what I said proves, or at least I think that proves, that he is not a bad bike handler. Which was what you were claiming. I questioned that, which made you resort to the tedious discussion that has then been going on. You throwing insults. Making it not about what you originally said, but more so personal.

I literally stated that he is not a bad bike handler. WTF. But there is a difference between not bad and going up against the best in the world on a technical course. You realize that the posts are still there. I can read what I posted. Read your posts. What is this even. You continue to put words in my mouth and use strawmans but I am supposed to think that you aren´t making this personal. Right...

He finished third in the race. How is that not a great result? He is one of the best in world obviously, as MVDP and the rest who fought in the end are as well. Nothing to do with a technical course and him not pushing it. MVDP was just the strongest today.

You are the one who keeps throwing insults and seem very frustrated/angry for no real reason. Very pointless discussion.

Are you even responding to my posts or just repeating the same strawman. it´s a great result. Never disputed it. Never stated that MVP wasn´t the strongest today. Your basically arguing with yourself.

You said Pog didnt push it corners and so on.

He clearly did today since he was always in position and in the front. He would otherwise kept losing positions. You said the "best in the world" on a technical course, he obviously could hang with them judging by the result. As I would think that would probably be someone like MVDP, who won. Not just because it was technichal course, but because he was strongest. That what mattered most in the end. Pog didnt lose this race because he wasnt pushing it in the corners or hasnt since his crash.

Again, how is your interpretation so off.

After reading this, hope that Pogacar gets a proper rest and comes back only for Italian classics.
