It's not like if Pog attacks the others can take it easy. It's a 5 minute effort, and it's not like he's not gonna drop everyone on Prati di Tivo cause he's too tired.TT and Prato di Tivo

Hard stage, but he was seated on the murito and just followed the wheels. Always right at the front and stayed out of danger. Job done on this stage. He took it easy today.
No team organization. They got to the stage where the gap was 20 seconds with 4km to go. All they need to do is 4km working on the front then they get a stage win basically. I don't know why they didn't
Yeah, but I am not surprised at all by those posts.Pogi can't catch a break. If UAE went for the win there would be people arguing about his foolish apetite and not saving himself for the Tour.
Evidently he's preparing a double watt bomb. It's not like if Pog attacks the others can take it easy. It's a 5 minute effort, and it's not like he's not gonna drop everyone on Prati di Tivo cause he's too tired.
Yeah, I dont understand Ineos either after putting in all that work and Narvaez winning the sprint behind. They got to the stage where the gap was 20 seconds with 4km to go. All they need to do is 4km working on the front then they get a stage win basically. I don't know why they didn't
Probably just to keep Thomas safe.Yeah, I dont understand Ineos either after putting in all that work and Narvaez winning the sprint behind.
Yes, Ineos's tactics where weird. What where they trying to achieve by riding?Yeah, I dont understand Ineos either after putting in all that work and Narvaez winning the sprint behind.
Put pressure on riders, hope to cause some splits and put time into opponents for 2nd place.Yes, Ineos's tactics where weird. What where they trying to achieve by riding?
I think that was UAE main objective with Pog as well today. It doesnt make sense to read more into it than that.Probably just to keep Thomas safe.
And do so without setting Pogi up for the win.Put pressure on riders, hope to cause some splits and put time into opponents for 2nd place.
Nearly everyone rode pretty logically today. Nobody really wanted to bring the break back and make give Pogacar free seconds.
People gave stick to the sprinters yesterday for letting the break winHow great do you have to be in order to have backlash when don't attack every stage that is up for grabs?
And when you do.How great do you have to be in order to have backlash when don't attack every stage that is up for grabs?
No you just have to get disproportionate praise for your attacks for there to be a reaction when you dont. And it's not even that there's backlashHow great do you have to be in order to have backlash when don't attack every stage that is up for grabs?
Tomorrow Pogi won't be merciful, I expect huge gaps and almost no one within 3 minutes behind him in GC (maybe only Thomas has some chances not to lose 2 minutes tomorrow).Maybe good sense is making room in UAE. Everyone will remember the double, no one will remember another stage win in Giro. Tomorrow there is a long, hilly TT.
Thomas' ITTs were really good in the 2022 Tour and 2023 Giro, he should never lose 2 minutes normally.Tomorrow Pogi won't be merciful, I expect huge gaps and almost no one within 3 minutes behind him in GC (maybe only Thomas has some chances not to lose 2 minutes tomorrow).
He even beat Pogacar in the last TT of the Tour 2022. I expect Thomas to lose 30/40 s to Pogacar tomorrow.Thomas' ITTs were really good in the 2022 Tour and 2023 Giro, he should never lose 2 minutes normally.
