But he races always like this in hilly races. Today is the same, he will not help Pogacar because he can't position himself. If he doesn't work on stage 4, I will start to question his loyalty (and Ayuso too).
It's hard for me to believe Almeida can't position himself on a climb like that. If we were talking about a flat section of the stage, then i agree Almeida can't position himself well, but on a climb like that, he could certainly move up in the group until the head of the small peloton.

Definitely something caused UAE to drop their pace. Was it planned before? I don't think so. It could be associated with Ayuso's apparent weakness. It's true that Ayuso's never worked for Pogacar before (despite being in UAE for the 3rd season) and there are some doubts regarding his sacrifice (if needed). Time will tell, we will know more shortly. I wouldn't doubt Almeida yet, his actions in TdS and comments indicate he should be a loyal super-dom. We don't know what were their team orders, maybe it wasn't to be Almeida's turn and afterwards they decided to stop pushing.

Dont think it was more than seeing that not much have happened with the main guys and then feeling like it was enough for the day. Putting the foot off the gas and saving the energy for another day where it could be needed.

Other stuff is just pure conspiracies set out to troll and slander the character of riders.

I think UAE and Pogacar have a problem, who is going to work first? Ayuso or Almeida. It seems obvious (until this moment) Almeida is stronger but Ayuso has more influence in UAE. A tough choice for Matxin.
I think its so far blown out of proportion I dont fail to see the concern just that its far to early to tell especially considering the articles about Ayuso beenig ill should be considererd this early. But it might turn out to be, we will see in a while. Pogacar is fine for now.

The race will decide that. Who is the strongest. Impossible to know that now. To decide an order for later stages.

They will analyze data every day and speak to the riders.

In my opinion, Pocagar "paid" ( it's a big word btw) for overconfidence. Refused to make the race hard, thinking a late attack was sufficient ( notice he also attacked in the almost flat section). But Jonas...ruined the plan showing a surprisingly great shape.
I paid overconfidence myself tbh on my prediction

Can't help but notice he once again waits until the easy part of the climb to attack.

I don't think Vingegaard was that easy, and it doesn't help when you attack where drafting makes 80W difference instead of 20W difference.
100% agree he attacked basicly at the top I found that wierd and dont know what to think off that its not the best if he wanted to gain time and felt comfortable!
