Now, looking to tomorrow stage, I hope João can be at the front with Ayuso and Pogacar. I think UAE will be unbeatable in the mountains, specially due to having 3 weapons very close in the GC.

Stage gonne be lit no? I see other teams as Ineos and Jumbo having more strenght in numbers on a stage like this and cause of that I think this stage might be a bit of a tricky one for Pogacar. If he has untimely flats, mechanicals that is I think he will have a harder time than other GC people. Mainly cause I dont know how Almeida, Ayuso, Yates and Soler goes in this terrain just assuming its not the best. If Pogacar dont have flats or mechanicals depending on whatever happens on the road he will be strong enough to even make seperations.
Its all a bunch of russian roulette today I think.

He will be fine if he avoids mechanicals or crashes.

Today is a big day. He just needs to arrive safely to the mountains. I don't know if he will be tired because he has the Giro in his legs but he spent a long time preparing his ability to climb long mountains to beat his kryptonite. Hope to see him at aleast able to show how good he is now in 40 minutes climbs.

If he arrive in the mountains without crash and the giro fatigue somehow hasnt appeared its over.
Noone is sticking on his wheel for more than 1km uphill without blowing up.

Never change him and Evenpoel if only other riders was like them we coulda had a full on cinema stage here but only Evenpoel and Pogacar wanne race offensive and take time on roglic oh well what a shame. Please never change. This is what people love to see

Also team effort grade A from me was worried about the numbers but 38km to finish they have al 8 ppl arond Pogacr. Grade A effort to team for me atleast at that point.

But he was stupid. This stage is tailormade for a lot of excitement but no gaps and he fall on this trap...

Nice ride today. Never seemed to be in trouble. I just hope he isn't burning to many matches and negative riding of some competitors will be rewarded in 3rd week.

Looked superstrong today, but maybe not the smartest racing. Sometimes he didn't have doms that set up his attacks, surely made it harder.

He was feeling good and probably considered sending Jonad into the red as much as possible knowing he had ahead a day of rest (and another half) before Wednesday's climbs. I would have only avoided the attack in the last sector.

One thing I would like to say. He will be in contention for Paris Roubaix one day. He is just too good, completely cooked Laporte and Visma today. Only Matteo can save Jonas today.

Of the top3, I dare to think that the one who has spent the least is Pogi. Remco always closing gaps and Jonas trying to follow the Slovenian with a bike that was not his (and at the speed he was closing the gap he was saving little)

One thing I would like to say. He will be in contention for Paris Roubaix one day. He is just too good, completely cooked Laporte and Visma today. Only Matteo can save Jonas today.

Definitely think before his career is done you'll see him shift his training to filling in the blanks. Too much flat power not to try.

Yeah, I said in the race thread these stages are always going to show outsized performance for GT racers because so much is dedicated to / sacrificed for them.

But I think Pogi will have a catch 'em all mentality and I'm sure he'll have the clout to push for it to give it one or two good tries.

Whatever happens the rest of his career will be compelling

I guess but c'mon. You can't watch this and not think Pogacar would be a factor in PR. I know the difference but sometimes one hast to not mind the details and realize the obvious fact staring you in the face.
