Well. He can’t nowBut he can't TT
well. Yes but no. Pantani did some fantastic TT's that would shame notorious non-tters like Bardet , the Schlecks etc.But he can't TT
A combination of both, they don't race smart and nobody in the teamcar has the guts to tell him how to race/according to Baldato he sees those things more as suggestions.i dont get pogi/uae tactics
riding hard and launch pogi works perfectly vs weak opposition in the giro
but in the Tour they should exploit Pogi's explosivity much more and gamble less on hard long solo's/slog efforts, that only suits Vingegaard more. Just let the break go, control the break but not too hard, let them win the stage. And then use Pogi's 1km attack on the last climb. Vingegaard would lose each time. And Visma dont have the team they had the last couple of years so they can't make the race as hard as Vingegaard needs anyway.
Now UAE do it for him. Weird. Or is Pogi overconfident?

Pure speculation here. Pog likes to dominate, to show he is superior, which he often is. Winning over Vinge by using the kind of tactics you mention, and concede that he might be a slighter weaker climber in the mountains, might not just be Pog's cup of tea. He wants to actually beat Vinge - convincingly. Especially since his losses to Vinge have been a bit brutal. Will be interesting to see how he and the team will ride in the upcoming mountain stages.i dont get pogi/uae tactics

You get something wrong as it is so dialed in. Simple as that. When you 30k solo you better have enough of everything you need before you go. He could have dropped a bottle or gels along the way and couldn’t get to them up the roadFor the pro-bonkers out there
Why would he bonk when he had the most help in the final, usual UAE/Pogi incompetence? I see no reason why he couldn't get what he needed.
Is he already bonking when losing ground close to the top of puy mary? Surely he must have when losing ground to Jonas.
Is it possible that cooking yourself completely feels about the same as bonking? So you start fueling as fast as you can, just in case?
Was it worth the risk? They burned the team badly yesterday and Ayuso and Almedia are no longer a real threat in GC to the others, so can't really play that card.I don't think there was anything wrong with the tactic. He could have killed the race yesterday, just like Vingegaard tried to do on Tourmalet last year, but they both failed because their opponent had improved and/or they themselves had worse legs than expected.
It didn't pay off, but it was worth the risk. In the end Pogačar is still in a much better position right now than Vingegaard was at this stage last year.
The tactic is wrong because it doesn't use Pogacar's strength vis-a-vis Vingegaard. Rather it uses Vingegaard's strength, which is endurance after a long and difficult day at a high pace. For Pogi it would be better to keep it relatively calm and then a big explosion at the end. Which is probably what they're going to do from now on (if they're smart).I don't think there was anything wrong with the tactic. Pog is in the lead, why was it so important to try to put 30-45 s to Vinge yesterday? Break Vinge's spirit? He could have waited with the attack to the penultimate climb and focus on bonus seconds on the climb and at the finish and take the win. Would have saved both him and the team some energy, his lead would have increased, at least Almedia would have been there in GC and momentum wouldn't have switched in Vinge's favour.

Reminding Roglic on how Vingegaard and Visma treated him the last 3 seasons.Pogacar chatting with Roglic but they don’t have a good relationship...
Probably removed his lungs since they found out Vingegaard doesn’t need them. Then if he had any pulmonary edema (which could be possible from then broken ribs and pneumothorax but which wasn’t reported) he’d get a diuretic.I don't know how can Vingegaard be so light. Contador has the same height of Vingegaard and he was something like 61.5 kg in his prime.
Haha hillarious. LegendDifferent approach to bike racing 🤣😂

Thats good news. Shame what happened to Roglic popped up on twitter.Doesn't look like he hit the ground. But he did have a damaged bike so he had to switch bikes.
U really believe Pogi have any chance vs vingo on long climbs?Pogacar was just over confident on low fuel not the best but not the end of the world. He rode away with ease again and opened up the gap before the nutrition part came into play.

When exactly did the nutrition part come into play, according to you? Because actually toward the top of the climb where Pogi attacked, Vingegaard had already almost closed the gap.Pogacar was just over confident on low fuel not the best but not the end of the world. I actually have zero doubts. And thats not coping even yesterday he rode away with ease opening the gap aswell. He just simply ran low on fuel, waited up cause he knew he would catch up duo to that like he said. Stupid mistake from them/him but didnt loose much its not the end of the world. He was confident you could say over confident and the fuel part is rookie mistake idk him or team but both I guess is at fault. Nvm he wouldnt go so far from the line if he didnt knewU really believe Pogi have any chance vs vingo on long climbs?
U are give me a hope brother haha i hope u rightI actually have zero doubts. And thats not coping even yesterday he rode away with ease opening the gap aswell. I would be more suprised if he wasnt able to ride away with ease again like he did.
Nothing to worrie about besides the Giro fatigue thats always been the worrie.U are give me a hope brother haha i hope u right
