But Loze or not, broken or not, Pog won 5 out of the last 8 stages in this years TDF. If there was ever a definition of destruction, that would be it!

He won all high mountain stages.

I'm not sure he'd bank that win as specific to Jonas and the triage unit that was Visma. Every GC guy was recovering from some crash that interrupted the season Tour prep and Tadej was very, very strong. He can be satisfied he won the two big GTs more than Visma folding before our eyes.

Pogacar doesn't do altitude training unless he is targetting a GT. Interesting, everyone else go to altitude (Remco, WVA, MVP)

Today his training consisted in a 6h20 ride and doing 80 kph behind a scooter in a false downhill. He is ready to show Remco who is the boss!

WVA is out, so Remco won't have high-end help.

I don’t understand the federation politics and coaches. But if it’s anything like the Olympics pogi may have to just stick behind the Belgians until he’s not.

I don't think Remco will be a problem, I very much doubt he will reach same heights as he did in the summer. Unless Pog crashes or have bad luck, I can't see him lose Worlds with WVA out
