Considering he did 7.24W/kg for 23min on stage 15 when he attacked, which was deep into a GT, deep into one of the hardest stages, in the heath at end of a 40MIN climb - if he further continue to improve which we already saw after the Tour and if continue that further, 7.5W/kg for 20min climbs definitely is more than plausible we can see into stages next year, he is just taking 2+2 together here. Think thats what he meant and not the Peyragudes TT snipehem, and based on what we already know its def probable. Also its crucial to divide this from 16km climbs thats not what were talking about, but 7-8km ish.
Liege he already did 8 this year. He did ~530w (8.2w/kg) on La Redoute. Granted 4.08min but he wasnt dead after, also its 200 ++ more km if were talking about the Peyragudes TT which you meant, which is 11km only, we also know hes improved alot since Liege and if he further improves even from that which are likely and probable, but I dont think he ever said 7.5 for the TT. and meant climbs and stages. The TT, its crazy but I agree with you, based on what we already know - if he can do 7.24W/kg for 23min deep into a GT and at the end of one of the hardest stages and 40 min climb, its possible in that scenario, at least closer to 8 than 7.5,in the TT only.
8W/kg deep into stages for a sustained 20+min are not realistic at all indeed but he said 7.5 and thats not that far fetched based on what we know its just 2+2, if he improves like is likely and rumours are true its just probable. This guy is already making extraterrestrial guys seems like amateurs.

The thing is, it wasn’t so long ago that 6.0w/kg was the threshold of what should be discussed in the other forum 😉. Now we are suggesting 7.5 or even 8?

They are going faster than ever but this is mainly because we have 2 of the greatest climbers ever. If we took out Pogi/Vingo, climbers would do 6,3 w/kg at their max. Remco was 3 minutes slower than Pogacar in PdB or 3 minutes slower in GdL. We just have probably the 2 best climbers ever.

And I believe the gap will grow even more. Something like 2 minutes in 30/35 minutes climbs. I think the MTT in Peyragudes will give us a clear picture of that difference. With everyone fresh and healthy, I can't see (for example) Remco or Roglic losing less than 1:20 minutes in 11 km

It doesn't change my point. I have a hard time seeing Remco and Roglic losing less than 1:20 minutes in the MTT.
Funny how people are making assumptions about everyone's level (and time loses ON CLIMBS) 6 months before the event.

There's something funny regarding levels though. Pogacar improved massively since turning 25. Vingegaard...well he became the best GT rider at the time once he turned 25.
How much well Evenepoel progress compared to them?

Aerobic threshold around 5-5.2 w/kg, anaerobic threshold around 6.1-6.3 w/kg. San Millan located around the former (Z2/Z3 border).

It’s kinda weird. I don’t have idea who others on this list may be, but I assume that mostly those are riders who are mean to others in peleton or are known for stupid behavior in the races. Others are probably open UAE hatres.
It was a joke that people took fairly seriously because it was translated from german to english. It was more like when you ride at races you have riders who you never talk to and some your friendly with. In context he was talking about their goal in the tour is always to isolate Jonas because he is nervous when he has no team mates with him then he joked about them having a black list of riders to work with.
