I agree. One thing is mountain stages where Vingegaard already proved he is on par or very close to Pogacar but monuments or WC is just nonsense. Pogacar is the most successful hilly monuments winner (6 wins) since Merckx (7 wins). It is very possible Pogacar will become this season the most prolific winner in hilly monuments (GdL and LBL) ever. Vingegaard's best result is a 14th place in 2021 GdL. In 2022, he won the Tour but finished 16th in GdL, 2 minutes behind Pogacar. I think he knows he is not good enough in 6 hours racesExactly. Someone in my opinion just severely overrates him and neglects basic facts, and he is great in his lane cause he is based on facts dont get me wrong, great GT rider no flame.
But anyone watching Lombardia, or WCRR last year and think Vingegaard gonne be close to Pogacar in WCRR, sorry personally I find that embarassing.
