He has no problem acknowledging Pogacar's greatness and has done so basically every time they go head to head, win or lose. We're discussing racing, not who needs to bow down before whom, and if that is your primary concern I suggest you find religion or something.
We're talking about the greatest talent to ever live somehow born in our era. You've got to be thankful to be born in his era & if you're to bow down to a random lady then 🐐 deserves same if not better

Howdy partner! I might normally welcome you to the thread with a warm hug. But I shall keep a healthy bro hug shoulder slap distance. Let’s get down with some good racing talk!
Much appreciated brother! I'll throw in a prediction. Aside from the Oude Kwaremont I can also see Tadej drop Mathieu on the Koppenberg. He has been super strong on it both times in Flanders and the the runoff and kms after are suited for powering away.

It’s usually politt. But uae should just put someone in the beak and pressure lidl Alpecin.
But pressure them to do what? As mentioned by several folks in the race thread, MVDP will only be paying attention to Pogacar, and not concerned about chasing anyone else from UAE. As a multiple winner, he can afford to not concern himself with some other rider winning a' la Terpstra or Van Summeren. And if someone like Pollit is in the break all day, what use will he be to Pogacar late in the race other than being there to help if there's a mechanical?

He was frustated but not because he thought MVP couldn't follow him
He was frustrated because even at his peak shape he couldn't win cicaban race and at the podium he was thinking how can i win this race? But the day later under his instagram post that says "dont be fooled i will come back for more" vdp mocked him on the comment saying "next year cipressa under 8 minute?" thinking he couldn't shake him there. That was the biggest mistake vdp made to this date and thats why we will see a gap we normally see at the end of a grand tour on sunday 📌

Be respectful. MVP is not a random rider and wasn't mocking Pogacar at all with that comment. He fully respects Pogacar because he knows he is the only rider able to beat him in his own terrain.

It's April Fools' Day. Everyone knows Vingegaard won't show up at Liège. The guy wouldn't be close to contesting any win, wouldn't be in the top 5, and, considering his seemingly fragile mental state and avoiding getting dropped by Almeida again,., you've got a better shot at seeing him in the Tour of Salvador than at Liège.

When he loses TdF this year, I think he will retire.

It will be too much for his fragile ego.
