Keep underestimate him. But don't be surprised by his performance in 12 days
Pogis only mistake is thinking multiple leaders strategy suits anyone besides the top favorites. Pogi wins through attrition beginning with km0. If a teammate is still around the favorites are too.

In PR is good to sell the idea of having multiple leaders and play with numbers but in reality they will work for Pogacar even if one is ahead in the race.

Like I said, so long as these guys are around anywhere up the road, the favorites are too. pogi has to ride the favorites off his wheel somewhere. It's likely he won't figure this out this year, but he will and that will be the formula to winning is 2x (my prediction)

A ridiculously strong team. It will be interesting to see how they deploy it.

I suspect they want one as a satellite rider cause they are all strong enough to add value in a scenario like that. It also opens up the possibility for Pogacar to take a WC approach to go super early, knowing he has zero chill and comical strong its a valid option.

Or, the straightforward option: make it hard one by one before the thermonuclear attack. Take your bets.

Their only problem is who is gonna work first, specially to do the donkey work.

Putting someone in the front is good to have a fast race and save UAE riders to really kill the race later, specially in the harder sectors.

So headwind/crosswind in Kwaremont/Paterberg. Bad news!
Isn't the wind direction pretty much the same as in 2023? I don't remember the wind speed then but all I remember is that it was a block headwind from the Paterberg to the finish in Oudenaarde in 2023. It's forecast to be the same case this year.

Don't remember but a 19 kph headwind is not great.

Yeah not perfect but wind direction's the same as when Pogi won it so he's shown he can still distance MVDP even with that. Obviously, we can't directly compare between 2023 and 2025 but it's still something.

Oude Kwaremont heads south, NW/N/NE winds are favourable there. Similar direction was in 2023.

The old gang is back, fresh from E3, Gen and Milan Sanremo races. Wout, Pog and MVDP will battle it out again. But this year we also have a strong Pedersen and Ganna. Can anyone stop MVDP winning this?
Last year it was MVDP who soloed to a dominant win.

Notable riders: Pogacar, Wout, MVDP, Girmay, Jorgenson, Merlier, Sheffield, Kristoff, Kung, Groves, Narvaez, Vacek Matthews, Alaphilippe

Full startlist (not yet final):

Map/Profile:

In 2025, the start of Tour of Flanders returns to Bruges. This also means that the route to the Flemish Ardennes is changing. The duo Oude Kwaremont - Paterberg will once again serve as a major obstacle in the finale. The finish does not change either. Mathieu van der Poel's successor may raise his arms on the Minderbroedersstraat in Oudenaarde.

Start: Markt in Bruges - 10:00
Finish: Minderbroedersstraat in Oudenaarde - around 16:15
Distance: 268,9 km

From here, it doesn't seem they are going south in Kwaremont but I don't know.
