I'm fairly sure that it's just dust sticking to the skin that's "newer" after his Strade Bianche crash.
If it wasn't there'd be some serious dental work necessary....looks like real Ardennes poo/dirt mixture on a dry day. Wonder what it tastes like on a cold wet day?

This article shows what I have been saying about Pogacar being under prepared for junior races, when other juniors were already training like a pro (and I don't even say how much better the equipment was compared to Pogacar).

absolutely, but one could argue that also in his first two 2 tdf he was under prepared, you can see it clearly from his body composition. Sola mentioned it in the december camp that a big step pog made in 2024 was related to his body composition. When you look at some 18/19 years old riders that become pro today you can visually see they are already more maximised than a 21/22 year old pog, which makes his first 2 tdf victories absolutely impressive

Looks very muscular there. Definitely in peak classics shape.

2 more weeks of monster 1 day efforts then back to training to hone long climbing endurance fitness and body composition.
He is probably 66 kg and will drop to 64,5 kg for the Tour just like last year.

Now mvp has been sick all season!

Allergic to pogi
It’s funny; days before, he was better than ever, and in the race he even rode brilliantly following several relentless KOM efforts non stop and was clearly best of the rest in terms of strenght. For his sake, just one too many.

MvdP is awesome, but this Pogacar is just a different level even in RVV. It really shouldn’t be hard to admit that. Notice how it’s not MvdP with the excuses.

Some of them are even saying he was on the level of Wout and Pedersen even after dropping them (with Pogi) 3 or 4 times (Paterberg, Koppenberg, Taaienberg, I think I am forgetting other berg). He just got cooked by a better classics rider.

This is what’s so annoying about die hard Pogacar fans. Instead of saying nice win of Pogi, a shame MVDP wasn’t at his best, you guys have to keep pushing the narrative as if he’s much better than anyone else on the bike. Deliberately ignoring all signs that MVDP wasn’t at his best.

When Mathieu and Remco loses to Tadej, they are never at their best. According to your narrative

Last topic I’m replying to you—there’s no point. But it’s Roubaix weekend, so let’s keep the vibes happy! Not once have I disrespected MvdP. Im as big a fan of MvdP as I am of Pogacar(and everyone else who should become that great, I just prefer greatness). Show me one time where I disrespected MvdP here? by saying A isn’t hard and doesn’t necessarily mean B, why do you jump to that conclusion?

It’s very obvious that MvdP has never ridden the bergs faster than he did this edition—in fact, he did it several times, natuarly that takes its toll even on a champion like MvdP. But at the same time, you’re saying he wasn’t at his best? And yet, expect me to take you seriously? If anything, MvdP deserves nothing but praise. He rode brilliantly, and I’ve given him credit all along for the true champion he is. It really isnt hard to admit one rider is better than the other.
