Weather is not good for a long range attack. Sunny day with a headwind of 10 kph. I hope Pogacar (if he is able to drop Remco on Redoute) waits for Remco on Redoute in order to have help until Roche aux Faucons.

I don't see a scenario where Pogacar attacks and then stops to wait.
If he doesn't want to be alone, he will simply wait for Evenepoel's attack on Redoute.

Maybe, but I think it depends on how strong UAE will be. Sivakov is in terrible shape since he got sick in PN so I believe only McNulty will be with Pogacar until la Redoute. I don't know how can he gamble with Remco if McNulty gets dropped there.

Christen should go to Liège.
Remco is going to Romandy and will be in Liège.

Once again, UAE prioritizes performing at their best in other races, as if they´re Astana, needing wins and points.

Christen going to Romandy from Liège shouldn't be a problem. He's not obligated to win in Romandy. The UAE's priority should be supporting their leader, not keeping everyone fresh for other races.

This is what happened with Wellens. They've taken him to so many races that when he's had to be in the Monuments, he's been exhausted and involved in accidents, probably due to this exhaustion.
Wellens wasn't a rider who crashed so many times; fatigue often plays a role.

The UAE's poor management at Amstel precipitated Pogacar's attack.
He probably has no choice but to play the race at La Redoute, although Rouche aux Faucons would be a better point for him

I do agree that UAE look a bit weak. Maybe Soudal will be the ones willing to make the race?

I agree with you. A shame he is not doing LBL, specially when Romandie is easy in the first 4 days.

Wellens had the same schedule before the monuments he usually has. The only difference last year was that Ruta del Sol was only one day.

So you are once again making a fictional things blaming the schedule for his incidents.

Wellens and Narvaez got hampered by crashes. We all see how valuable they are in MSR.

Last year, Pogacar did the Giro, not the cobbles classics.

The fictional is to compare domestique´s (or UAE) last year calendar with this year's calendar, when Pogacar's calendar is completely different.

You were talking about Wellens specifically and his schedule, blaming it for his crashes
You can check for yourself that he always had the same or heavier schedule.

Where did I say something different?
Did I say you said something different? I just said we didn't have the opportunity to see Wellens and Narvaez as domestiques in critical part of races because they crashed. This is also the reason why UAE was weak in a couple of classics this year.

Sad that they're not taking Christen to LBL. He looks to be on super form.
Now, only McNulty can give some hope to Pogacar. McNulty needs to survive to La Redoute in the top15 and then Pogacar will do the final attack on Roche aux Faucons.

I never said you said anything different.
You're initial response to my comment didn't make sense.
@Cycling111 was complaining about Wellens' schedule being too heavy blaming it for crashes and I simply pointed out that this is a very typical schedule for Wellens.
