When Seixas will win by a landslide, those chauvinists won't do that to him. In fact, they have been wanting to have a Hinault to dominate like that.
They aren't bothered by Marchand and his crushing dominance
It's normal to support your national riders. This doesn't bother me. What annoys me is not having the slightest rational thinking about reality.
I don't have any problem to say Almeida wasn't good enough to beat Vingegaard and he is not on his level (like some portuguese commentators said). Supporting a rider is one thing, being a fanatic is another.

Pogacar is the best cyclist of his generation, perhaps even the greatest of all time (GOAT). He only has two monuments race left to win: the PR and the MSR. And yes, of course, Vuelta.

If he wins the GdL next week, as is highly likely, he will set a record as the first rider to win the GdL five times in a row.

Next year, will Pogacar focus on the MSR and PR? If he wins the MSR, and then wins the GdL for the sixth time, a new record will be broken. And winning the MSR and GdL in the same year is considered something of a "holy grail" in Italian cycling (according to Wikipedia).

Watching Pogacar win continuously might be boring for some. But watching him continue to break records after records should also be exciting.

Just like in the world of tennis, Djokovic continues to break record after record until age slows him down and younger players emerge who are just as skilled but more power and endurance because due to their youth.

So, wouldn't it be better to just enjoy it while Pogacar is at his peak and continuing to make history?

Yes, but don't attack other riders. I´ll never attack another cyclist even if I don't like him.

Although they're a minority, on another climb, they applauding him. But the aggressors are the ones who stand out.

If you want to use the Tennis analogy, there's never been a time in which the dominance of Djokovic came close to that of Pogacar.

Djokovic's reign spans two generations, the old generation with Federer and Nadal, and the younger generation with Sinner and Alcaraz. Yes, there were seasons where he was undoubtedly the best in both era's (2011, 2015 and 2021), but he never reached the dominance that I am currently witnessing with Pogacar. Djokovic never entered a Roland Garros where you could basically, bar illness or injury, state he's unbeatable, like I currently see with Pogacar.

It's all fine if people say 'enjoy that dominance', everyone enjoys watching sport in their own way, but I completely get that people moan about the boredom that comes with it as well. I also notice that I'm way less interested in the racing than a couple of years ago when the top riders were more level.

More impressive is to win Giro, MSR and GdL

Mechanicals in the legs poor boy🤣
He will never reach Pogacar's climbing ability. I think his move to Bora is good and he is very capable of closing (not totally) the gap to Pogacar in short hills (LBL, AGR, WC like Montreal, etc) but in medium mountains or long mountains, he will never be close. It's like comparing prime Contador with Leipheimer in the high mountains.

It is weird that Remco and Pogacar never came together to finish (i mean just two of them). Or even not just to finish but were never alone. I always wonder how would they work together. Remco has such a weird engine, he was dropped at Worlds when he won and also Olimpics, he was dropped at first. The same thing happened this year WC and EC RR. Of course he won all ITT possible this year but other than that he won just one RR this year and that was his first race this year and not WT. It will be interesting what will happen with his schedule next year because i don't know how many times he will accept Pogacar beating him at every race, despite him being clear number two at hilly races. Should try next year maybe T-A, Amstel and FW (i doubt Pogi will be there) and LBL. After that Giro. It would be great having him, Jonas and Almeida+Del Toro at Giro as Pogi fan.

Well, Pogacar never entered MSR and PR as unbeatable force. Even in TdF he is not unbeatable (2022).

And, there is Marc Marquez in MotoGP. Etc.
My poin there are (were) "Aliens" in sports...

That jersey is too pretty  .
Couldn't he race with this jersey in 2026 instead of the hideous UAE jersey? Especially that huge XRG ad.

Because Pogacar drops him every time.
