Normally all round riders who can do everything have difficulty getting wins because specialists will beat them in their specialised area. See Eddy Boasson Hagen as example.

Well now you can apparently be a specialist at eveything. And ride every race on the calendar in top shape.

He's not an all rounder. He crushes the opposition everywhere all the time.

That's still an allrounder just a very very good one. Mind you I am not arguing for credibility here, I just believe that the riders talents matter in some way as well and Merckx, Hinault, Coppi e.g. existed.

Edit.
Hinault btw. once won the sprint at the Champs Elysee, okay less specialised times , but just to give you an idea. Pogacar is also not a total anomaly when it comes to GCs winning GTs and having pretty good or very good sprints.

I mean it's just not impossible, that a transgenerational talent shows up within the context of doping.

Cipo: "I've never seen anything like this, the closest thing was Indurain on La Plange"
Ask about the climbing time/w per kg estimate: "What should I say... probably the nutrition, the supplements and all the sugars they pump into their blood(steam)"

People are getting more open about their disbelieve and the climbing times being meme-worthy...
