Yep. Gianetti and Tik Tok boy, the perfect machine.

Does anybody feel that Pogacar will never get busted by the drug authorities because of his image?

He is this popular, humble, gracious, angelic looking, Gen-Z instagrammable figure that is a 'good' image for the sport.

Every sport needs a star but cycling likes to protect some and bust others.

I mean, this is pretty much exactly what happened with Armstrong, isn't it? UCI saw how much potential there was in keeping an American rider at the forefront and as a result, turned a blind eye to everything that USPS did. Nowadays with social media nationality has become less important, and it's more important that a rider is "quotable" and "memeable" and generates a ton of attention. Pogi checks all the boxes, so they will undoubtedly turn a blind eye if at some point some suspicious stuff is dug up on UAE. The Slovenian connection in Aderlass has been glossed over quite easily considering that two of the three biggest winners in the past eight years are both Slovenian.

If I have to be honest, the combo Gianetti, Matxin and UAE is a massive bomb.

So sad to see these horrendous performances getting better day by day and breaking records as if it was the routine. They are increasing their level year by year and it looks like we didn't see the limit yet.

Hopefully we'll see things going back on track next year.

Anyway, the thing that surprises me the most is that there is no bad days for the dominant duo. Pogacar is winning every race he ride (with a tremendous difference) and it would be the same for Vingegaard if he didn't crash at the Basque Country Tour. They became robots.

I mean, after today the cat's kinda out the bag.
Cycling media and the people inside the sport won't ask any hard questions, but some mainstream media might just look at the climbing times and numbers and come to rather obvious conclusions.
The cycling media are a part of the problem, the omertà never really left the sport. An opportunity was spurned after the Armstrong bust as lots of ex dopers were still welcomed within the sport.

What we have had since 2020 is an arms race between Jumbo and UAE with the ante being upped each year. Yet despite their performances, nobody can say with certainty how it is possible for Pogacar to generate 6.7w/kg for 40 minutes or how it is possible for Vingegaard to produce insane levels of power in the TT in last years Tour.

But a random Colombian rider will get busted in a few weeks and the UCI will be showing themselves to be cracking down on the dopers.

We said the same thing last year after Vinge's monstrous TT, and yet nothing changed.
The best we can hope is that some random minor UAE rider will be found positive to something as a slap on the wrist from UCI, but this team truly have the big money behind them so I doubt it will have any effect. No way the Emirates will let some pesky doping accusation get in the way of their sport washing, especially now that they found the perfect mascot in Pogacar.

It's because last years TDF had some of the highest viewing figers ever, money talks. Same reason they started busting everyone after Lance retired.
If Pog keeps this up I recon they'll give him a warning..

If a fully fit Vingegaard with a proper preparation would be at Pog's level today, then it would simply be all the more absurd. You'd have two riders blowing everyone else off their wheel & putting 3 minutes into the nearest rival on one climb... aka Evenepoel who himself finished minutes ahead of everyone else.

That's worse than women's cycling in terms of level disparity. It's an impossible difference.

Although Pog's taking the absolute p*ss, let's be real, if Jonas Vingegaard and Visma Leaseabike were fully fit it would be a much different story.
It's not only Jonas, Vlab's team is just weaker compared to UAE this year. They have no 3 GT monster Kuss and WVA, just like Vingo, is not at his best after his crash. Most of the their team had to spend several days in the hospital this year due to crashes so yeah, without all the set-backs they would be much closer, but I still think that slovenian Hulk would come out on top.
