That's what I thought as well at the beginning. But his comments and behavior are quite different from deranged fans. He is far more vile and launches rumors that benefit Pog. He is aware of his following and also some of his calculations aren't that dumb.
Like take the latest rumor with Evenepoel to Visma. Makes no sense but it's a distraction that benefits Pog.

In a sport where likely all the top dogs dope in some sort of fashion, I still find Pogacar the least palatable . He never doesn’t have form, can seemingly compete on any territory, and almost always remedies any small mistake instantly. Compare him to the other two podium finishers from last year
Vingegaard: Doesn’t really ride the classics, only ever peaks for the Tour ever year, so if you want to claim he’s free of doping at least.
Remco: Doesn’t have as much of a mountain engine, and has the most varied form of the 3, which is relatively “normal” compared to 10 years ago.

So for me it's really hard to understand why are you know supporting pog, who is way worse in the cheating part than Lance ever was.
