Who talked about altitude training??? Lying to fit your narrative is not a good indicator of cleverness. The change of coach came at the right time (end of 2023) to justify Pogi's abnormal development.
This provided a suitable narrative to justify this abnormal increase in performance.
I'm not denying that a change of coach can improve performance. Of course it can. But it's highly unlikely that his performance improved by around 10% at this level.
Are they seriously trying to take us for fools by telling us that Pogacar did not do any heat training before Sola and no proper altitude training? That is the most ridiculous fairy tale I have heard in recent years. Almost every amateur knows about the benefits of heat training and altitude training, and San Millan apparently knew nothing about it?
Then why is he still active and working with UAE riders if he's such an amateur? That's completely contradictory.
The change of coach came at just the right time to silence critical voices. At the same time (end of 2023), Twitter user Mou also began to explain Pogis' performance with the change of coach. Strange coincidence, isn't it?
The UAE machine runs like clockwork, even on the internet. Whether it's deleting negative comments about Pogacar or journalists etc. who invented the GOAT nonsense. or reacting to negative comments.
I don't even think it's a coincidence that seated attacks became less frequent as more and more critical comments pointing this out appeared. The critical voices grew louder, and shortly afterwards he began to get out of the saddle more and more. UAE is doing damage control and critical voices are helping them sometimes.
It's wrong to say that Pogacar has always been so consistently strong. Have you already forgotten ‘I'm done, I'm dead’? Have you already forgotten how red he turned? Before 2024, Pogacar was still a ‘normal’ athlete who showed signs of fatigue. Nothing like that can be seen anymore. Now we have to look at a Pogacar who is always in peak form, who doesn't even sweat when he crosses the finish line first and who can do whatever he wants. Even on flat courses where he should actually be at a disadvantage against the big FTP machines like MVDP.
+1000Lol. Of course his training changed too, but non-dope factors don't lift someone already so good so much.
When do you think he started using CO?
Yeah, Vacek should have joined UAE.Remco's biggest rival, in juniors, retired...
So you are a Remco fan, this is very telling. Do you want to see who Pogacar beated in Avenir?Yeah, Vacek should have joined UAE.
Have you checked the rest of his opposition in 2018? Van Wilder, Girmay, Plapp, Fancellu, Tiberi, Waerenskjold...
Not that bad.
That race after he joined UAE and suddenly started winning? So you are a Remco fan, this is very telling. Do you want to see who Pogacar beated in Avenir?
Who talked about altitude training??? Lying to fit your narrative is not a good indicator of cleverness.
Pogacar didn't make adaptations to the heat. Doping can't justify why he was so good in cold conditions and dropped some watts in very hot weather.
Which leaves us wondering how you know about it...Even within the peloton, there are already a few riders who are expressing their doubts, at least in private.
Your comrade 'gianetti the goat' wanted to compare his pre-UAE results to Primozic's for some strange reason.my man still didnot get the point and he is showing primozic, lmaooo.sure, jail pogacar.
People were saying that he did not much altitude training compared to other riders. This is what i meant with no proper altitude training. But anyway it doesn´t change the fact that this training story is a bit stinky. If san Milan would be such a bad coach he wouldn´t work anymore for UAE.
Did you actually see how often he was beaten by Primozic?Your comrade 'gianetti the goat' wanted to compare his pre-UAE results to Primozic's for some strange reason.
This just shows what some are suggesting to be absolutely laughable.I'm starting to wonder if some of the users posting the most ridiculous comments are being paid by Pog or UAE to employ reverse psychology

You misspelled "occasionally."Did you actually see how often he was beaten by Primozic?
It's rather important as some of you refer to the immense talent of Pogacar and if they can't find it pre-UAE, they refer to his late date of birth or him not coming from a large cycling nation.
Yet, somehow younger Primozic beat generational talent Pogacar frequently.
Pre-UAE Pogacar, of course.
Such a nice selection. You're a very honest person.I'm starting to wonder if some of the users posting the most ridiculous comments are being paid by Pog or UAE to employ reverse psychology

USADA submitted the results be stripped to UCI due to how severe Armstrong’s doping was, bullying others to dope, and being the ringleader. Armstrong asked UCI to not contest it because he was hoping the USADA wouldn’t release the results if he didn’t contest their decision and could play the victim from a witch hunt and unfair court process. What he didn’t know is USADA could release the results still due to their issues with Hamilton in the past, so they still released it. After this UCI agreed with the decision and did not appeal it with CAS and WADA didn’t appeal the decision at a later date either. So it sounds like UCI was trying to save face due to their collusion with Armstrong from the report. They managed to go past that for Armstrong, but I don't recall why exactly.
I know this might not be evident at first sight, but this guy seems to be a true believer in Pogacar, so that's indeed the level here, but from some of his fans, not his critics. The dude comes up with a narrative that Vingegaard couldn't beat Dani Martinez by 10 minutes in a three-week race without breaking a sweat.
That's the level here, folks.
You can challenge whatever you want. Pre-UAE Pogacar was above average at best. Just compare his results to Primozic who is 3 months younger.

Nothing? I agree his level right through the year is suspect but not his appearance of not suffering which is hugely subjective and unscientific. Before 2024, Pogacar was still a ‘normal’ athlete who showed signs of fatigue. Nothing like that can be seen anymore

Sports science says Primozic is not relevant to your argument.Did you actually see how often he was beaten by Primozic?

Pre-UAE Pogacar, of course.
I live 10 km away from Pogi, and in the bike shops and cafés you meet professionals from various teams almost every day. Some of them speak very badly about Pogi and accuse him of doping.Which leaves us wondering how you know about it...
If San Millan is that horrible why is he still working for UAE? That makes no sense at all! If he would be so bad they would fired him already long time ago.Your comrade 'gianetti the goat' wanted to compare his pre-UAE results to Primozic's for some strange reason.
San Millan is a horrible coach. It's been confirmed that Pog didn't do any heat training under his guidance. He started doing that with Sola.
All current studies show that prolonged heat training increases Hb mass by as much as 42 grams, with each g increase in total Hb mass is associated with an ~4 ml/min increase in VO2max
I also see some interesting math from true believers. The heat training impact on VO2 appears hyperbole.I know this might not be evident at first sight, but this guy seems to be a true believer in Pogacar, so that's indeed the level here, but from some of his fans, not his critics.
