Why is nobody confronting the UCI about Gianetti's history?

Because his rivals are also juiced.

That's the omerta right there. Seixas for example isn't the Grinch, i.e. he didn't just get magically dropped on someone's doorstep. The whole system is geared towards maximizing youth and finding the super responders in the teen categories - maybe with genetic doping and anything else to spoof the biological passport.

Thanks for that. Always been my view - also on the omerta (why rivals don't complain).

Interesting that some are claiming Seixas is 'legit' [whatever "legit means?]. But maybe the legit rider shows that Pogacar isn't using a motor as gets brought up here after some of Pog's wins.

The bigger concern for the sport is new ways to circumvent the passport. Also wonder how they can identify super responders?

They're making too much money off Pogi Mania, same as when Dawg was about. At least with Dawg he didn't hold for for 365 days a year
That's giving a bit too much credit to the Pog and the Dog I think. I'd say they're making money off of their sport no longer looking like Nellcôte on wheels in the eyes of casual viewers, not from any specific rider dominating. And especially not a Slovenian. The British dominance did at least produce some extra 'investment' in the sport there.
