Despite having idiots like Aldag and Hammond on board, DD have ridden well and deserve something out of the tour. Would have been nice to see EBH win a stage after so long too.
 
However they came to that result, it was very impressive again by Kittel. It was a strong man's sprint with that tailwind - quite limited drafting benefit from 5km out, but he still had the strength to edge out classics specialists like Matthews, Degenkolb, EBH and Kristoff. He's obviously in amazing form to come round those guys in that kind of finish.
