Brambilla to get into the break, to possibly set up Dan Martin if he's got the legs. That's about the only GC-related action I expect.

Brambilla is according to Brian Holm not allowed to attack because he's going to protect Dan Martin
;)

Obv not true, Brambilla very active.
Yes, it looks like Holm was bluffing.

Sky won't let the maillot jaune go. They have the strongest and highest paid squad.

Im sure they will give it away. The new maillot jaune will only have less than a minute ofcourse.

True, hard to not see Froome in yellow after tomorrow's stage. Or...

Porte, Aru, Fuglsang, Martin and Quintana will drop Froome on the Mont du Chat, Froome will then catch them on the descent. Froome will put Richie into the barriers in the the sprint for the line and win the stage but will be kicked out for dangerous riding.

If that bigger group had worked together we would have had a big break - but it's not yet too late to try to bridge. I expect some action after the intermediate sprint.

Sunweb working to keep the gap down. There's an uncategorized climb before the sprint. I'm guessing that's the place to bridge. Maybe Barguil's up for it today rather than tomorrow.

Perhaps it's too early in the tour but this would be a great stage for a long range mugging

If it continues like this, I think one of the GC Contenders is going to lose big at the end of the day.

Sunweb have actually played this very well

Why? They dropped Demare but they're still going for a 3rd place at the intermediate sprint.
