You can't spell second stage without Segen. This is Sagan's to lose.

If qs manages to do another dominant lead out like yesterday then it's gavirias to lose, but it's almost impossible in the TDF for 1 team to do perfect leadouts every time.
Qs has an absolute beast of a team though and when riders like Gilbert, terpstra and jungles are willing to bust their ass for the lead out train then it's hard to stop them.

QS had 4 or 5 men plus Gaviria going into the last km so that's tough to beat. The race today will be for that right hand, 90 degree turn with 2 km to go.

Quintana was the unlucky one hitting a traffic island. I'm surprised how much road furniture had no warning guy or big warning sign. Most small things were just covered in stripey plastic. Someone could be really badly hurt if they don't do something.

Bonus seconds have never counted for the team's classification, it is purely based on the three best times on each stage and has nothing to do with the GC.

Or if it's bad enough we could end up with it being neutralized like what Valencia did earlier this year.

In 2014 they removed two sections from the stage, but we'll have to see how accurate the weather forecast is.

I am pretty sure they do not count for the team classification. I have never seen it count on any of the stuff nor in any of the tour games do bonus seconds count for team classification.

Then a rider has 2 different times registered.....

I would think because it says for the classification that is the finishing time on the stage of the first 3 riders that finished the stage. That doesn't cause a rider to have 2 different times registered at all.

Let's say you have your 3 riders on the first stage, 1 wins the stage in 4h 1m 5s and gets the 10 bonus seconds, second rider finishes 4h 2m 5s, and third rider finished 4h 3m 5s. So for the team classification it combines those 3 riders finishing time making it a team classification time of 12h 6m and 15s. The rider that won first is awarded his 10" bonus. They still finished the stage in 4h 1m 5s but than was awarded free 10".

I hope that makes sense. Like I said, I am pretty sure bonus seconds do not count because I have never seen it in any results of races nor has it counted in any of the cycling games I've played.

You can say that the time bonuses go to the rider and not the team -

Time bonuses are awarded at the end of every
mass-start stage (i.e. no time bonuses on offer
in individual and team time trials). The first three
riders get 10, 6 and 4 seconds, respectively.
3, 2 and 1 seconds shall be awarded to the first
three riders at the Bonus Point in each of the first
nine stages (except for the stage 3 team time trial).

Actually, it is his choice. If he wants to stay in the stripes rather than green, he is allowed to.

If I am not mistaken it is long, straight, slight uphill, finish which reminds me of stage two last year. I thought that time Kittel had no chance but the opposite was the reality. He won it so easily.
