A game of two halves, as they say.
All out action, replaced by the usual Pau plod.

They should have a flat stage into Pau, and then start then essentially do this stage in reverse. Now that would be an EPIC stage.

Jesus some of you folks overreact. SBS always do it for a few minutes to show viewers what happened before. They always show some sort of highlights so people don't miss out and then they go to it live.

Yeah i know that saquatch but tonight Mike Tomolaris skipped his usual pre-race chat with phil or paul and skipped Gabriel Garte's Taste le Tour and said we were straight away going to live pictures. We then had pre-recorded picturews with Matt Keenan commentating for about 2 or 3 min before then we cut to Phil and Paul. It was here that they were 5+ minutes behind

Enough to give Thor Green.

What?

You dont get green jersey points for getting over a mountain do you.

He will however have a small chance at intermediate sprints, and then a good chance at getting points in the sprint

You get green jersey points at the end of every stage.

Basso hanging on on there

Basso 20 mins behind at the col
He's still with the sprinter group and not on the autobus yet.
He wants to get to the rest day and see how it goes despite bronchi-problems.

Maybe they count extra from when he's at the back as being the front of the peloton group :p

I am starting to get a sickening feeling that the "peloton" is gifting this to the Uniballer.....you know....for all he has done...
6:23 gap, will be at 5 over the top and then........oh god I am gonna barf if this happens!
Meanwhile Paul and Phil will pee themselves with excitement!

Thank you for this update. I've been wondering what was happening with him.

Well, at least if it happens, it's the last time you'll ever have to see it.

Armstrong still doesn't look great.
even Moreau looks better. Anyway you can hear those hips creaking!
I donßt think Cunego would give the stage away.
