Horner can move up a very long way here on GC, 15 minutes or so down at the start so good luck to him.

Yeah... the break is at 9". They're going to have to boggie after the descent.

So, any chance Cervelo will have Konavalovas drop back, and get whoever else they have left to pull on the front to try for a real sprint? Or not worth it...

I think probably the latter, with 9 minutes, for a few sprint points, but who knows. Thor REALLY wants that jersey.

What else have Cervello got

+ if they push hard, it might get cav/ ale jet out of the time limit.

Moreau is up to 128 pts now. Nicely done! Will make for an interesting battle on Thursday.

That's it for the Polka.

I don't know if Charteau can hold that advantage.

+1 on wanting Moreau to win Polka Dots. Generally, though, I'd be happy with Charteau, it's been pretty excellent to watch BBox ride meaningfully in the Tour, and it's great to see French cyclists dominating the classification.

Also, it's great to see a number of riders trying for the Maillot Pois; too often it's either a rider that gets in a good break and then just sprints out of the group every stage to take a couple of points, or one semi-GC guy targeting it and everyone lets him.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if Lance flatted and Horner was riding near him at the time and needed a wheel. Damn service cars, ruining the fun.

Are they wearing heart rate monitors? I see the black straps. I'm sorry for asking a stupid question.

That's where they hide their motors now that they're scanning the bikes.
