WTF SBS this is stupid. If you show something live actually show it live.

Just saw christophe moreau sprint from the group and beat everyone to the top of the climb. I remember you guys talking about that about 5 pages back.

Edit: Yay!!!! 1000 posts

I imagine they wanted us to see the Tourmalet. But ..... this is so annoying. I can watch in HD on a reasonable sized screen if I want to be 5 minutes behind. Or I can watch on a scratchy little internet feed .... Grrr.

Ok, SBS now very slightly in front of Eurosport UK/World.

Cool.

Today's stage should have been run in reverse, and it's being raced in reverse too! All the attacks and excitement were in the first 50km, and now it's going to be dull as sin until the finish.

I thought that descent went fast.. got down a mountain in the time it took me to go downstairs to get a drink and up again.

I will say this confirms my suspicion that the only thing holding back in the way of exciting racing is the riders themselves.

You’re doing it wrong.

The problem is partial due to the media. IF one of the contender go on a High risk High reward attack and failed, the media will crucify him. These attacks make riders tend to play it safe to avoid the media onslaught. Its that way with all sports, a bunch of coaches are afraid to take a chance because failure on that chance usually leads to an immediate firing.

Today's stage is a perfect example. It started off like it was going to be epic, but then everyone realized how risky it was and decided to stop taking chances after everything got back together on the descent of the Aspin.

Jesus some of you folks overreact. SBS always do it for a few minutes to show viewers what happened before. They always show some sort of highlights so people don't miss out and then they go to it live.
