Plaza now at 5'-02" in the GC, on the road, behind Bobby Gesink, but coming over Levi Leipheimer.
Isn't it time the Shack did something for their top GC man?

If you were Johan Bruyneel, what would you be telling LA?

Let Horner and Plaza ride for GC time and then have Horner set up the final sprint if it gets to that, and watch the frenchies when you get under 20k as they'll try to get away. Then again I doubt LA would need someone to tell him that.

to work for Horner.

I suspect thats what LA might say after the stage, that he was domestiquing for horner.

As for la's chances at the stage win, his only chance is to do a vino stage 13 in the last 10 km of the stage, just ride away from everyone.
We will se if he still has the grit and ability to do it.

though after reading this very anti la forum, you might expect bruneel to order horner to crash into the remainder of the break to get armstrong free;)

Considering there's about 90 guys in the peleton nah not really. I was kinda impressed how they pulled back the leadout group on the peyresourde but it's hardly surprising they're there now.
