2007 was awful.....half the peleton got thrown off

That would of happened this year except the tour organisers are too scared to throw anyone off the race now. Past two years, no positives. Coincidence? I think not.

As written by me yesterday on the thread about should Andy attack early:

Tourmalet = the Alberto and Andy Loveboat. As they cross the line they'll be holding hands and talking about their next holiday together. It's the third summer of love out there . . .

Ok Schleck and Contador can't hurt eachother on the climb so it will be decided in the TT which mostly likely will be won by Contador.

That wink by Contador was crap tho, but i'm sure when he watches the images he will agree. Last time he winked hahaha :D

CHRIS HORNER is at 10th overall!?!?!??!?!!?

And he was the one who dropped back to help Lance and lost 5 min. If he hadn't he'd be 4th right now if you add those 5 min back to him.

WTH!!!!!!

It was the typical Tour by Leipheimer where he blows chunks on one stage.

Too bad Horner lost time hauling escorting Armstrong and chasing the team classification. He would have done well if he had been able to ride for himself.

then again he made 9 mins in the break and wouldnt have been allowed to make 9 mins in the break if he had been racing for himself and been up there.

He will be highest placed RS but he certainly could've been higher. Though maybe he doesn't care whether he's 8th or 10th...

He's making the point that if he doesn't win by more than 35 seconds then the tour was decided by a dropped chain...[/QUOTE

I know dude. My point is that won't happen.

Alberto should stop giving gifts to all these guys. He should have sentenced the race in Spa.

But then he wouldn't have gotten to go on that break with Lance... so the 5 minutes come back off and he's 10th again.

I'm not gonna say that the riders are doped up badly now. I doubt it, but the fact that UCI has control of the doping control is a bad thing. Give the french or an international doping check organisation control, because this smells indeed.
