"It seems today that the commissaires are the hammer and Armstrong is the nail."

Had to rewind to figure out what the jerseygate was all about.

Since the sponsor was in on it, the UCI/Race directors should've just fined the team like they did with Super Mario. It was a whole team so it's a little different, but it's not like this stage is taken seriously anyway. You have Tommy V in another team's kit!

Paul Sherwen already blowing the "This is a bit premptive (alberto with Champagne) he must be prepared for any split in the peloton today as he and Schleck are only spearated by 39 seconds" line

Paul is insufferable, I finally threw in the towel and switched to internet stream. Turns out the race actually keeps going on through the commercial and feature breaks. Who knew? :)

I don't remember him saying that in '07...

Oh wait, JB's mastery would never have let that happen in '07.

I do agree with you on all accounts.......with commercials i think SBS has a 30-45sec break every half hour (or maybe a bit closer than that at the start of the stage) until the race heats up (last climb on MTF or last 15km in flat stage.......can anybody give me a realistic idea on how many breaks and how long they go for on Versus? Because from what ive heard it sounds as though the "brought to you by" leadout crap would be longer than the SBS break:eek:

Livestrong-gate seems to have been resolved now. Who knows where those black jerseys will end up. Ebay?
