The unmentioned Menchov sitting in 4th overall.

Yes... but 3rd is as high as he can realistically go now.

I can't see him gaining time on Andy and Contador in the mountains... but he's not going to get enough back on Andy in the TT to potentially take 3rd.

It's going to be like last year... Andy vs Alberto with everyone else fighting for 3rd.

Wtf!? Kreuziger was behind the Basso group?

Yes.... And Basso was pulling all along with VDB2 and de Weert. Weird he didn't wait to do it together. Maybe a communication breakdown?

Wow

Michael Rogers comes in before Cadel even though he went off the back first.

That isn't right. There is more to it than Cadel just not being so good in the mountains.

Great finish of a great stage.

Biggest loser: ASO for re-introducing a$$cam. Finally, there's a thoroughly interesting stage, and they fail completely to show it.

Cuddles group coming in here....

He loses a total of 8 minutes and 6 seconds on Schleck. 7 minutes and 16 seconds to Samu and around 5 minutes on Menchov/Gesink.

AGAIN!!!!
- wake up people!!!
This is a race and it is importent who wears the yellow yersey in Paris!!!!
But today will have the GC contenders 20 minuts back before Madeleine!!!
Why??
1. Because there is no point in using energy with 30 clicks downhill/flat at the end. The risks is higher than the gain!!!
2. The leader has a team who can not ( and do not want to) control the race untill Paris.

The break-away goes all the way.
There will be some attacks from the second best GC-riders in the peleton up Madeleine, and some of them might get a minut on others GC-riders... So what !!!! AS, AC, Evans will ride together all the way!!!

Noone will use team energy if they do not see a gain!!! And today noone will risk anything!!!

And remember RAIN and COLD changes everything!!!!!

hows that foot taste?

From the way he seemed to recover on the descent I'd say he had the hunger knock. You can't forget to eat, Cadel!

A problem I certainly don't have. I'm heading to the fridge right now.
