hows that foot taste?

I particularity like the 3-5 exclamation marks after each statement, that conveys exactly the right amount of respect for that possibility that other points of view might have some merit.

Anyone has a screencap of Evans crying? Maybe ACF needs a new avatar ;p

Seriously, anyone could have figured he would collapse after that Giro. But it's probably the injuries (the same the rest of the peloton has/had after Spa and Arenberg) that ruined it this time.

He's on screen now, he looks like he doesn't understand it.

Pretty much. Either he's climbing worse than last year or everyone else has gotten better.

There is actual racing on the climbs during in this Tour. Astana is not glass cranking the climbs to keep Armstrong's podium chances alive.

Just heard that in the group Rabo, Leipheimer and Rodriguez didn't work and only sucked wheels.

Are those guys naturally dumb? Or just without brains (Leipheimer and Rodriguez that is). Appearently 4th place is more important to them then a chance at 3rd place (catching Sanchez)

Great win by Casar, his hard work certainly paid off. Awesome to see the Schleck/Contador group almost roll right past the break, an "oh ****" moment for sure for the breakaway. Good racing today.

Anyone else think it would have been incredible to see a bunch sprint hitting that slight left handed with 40 metres to the finish...

I think he bonked, but it is hard to understand how he let it happen. He seemed to have recovered by the end of the stage.

The pressure of using La maillot jaune killed Evans :(

Seeing Evans in that situation is heartbreaking...

Leipheimer I understand (that he's a brainless, gutless wheelsucker that will never win anything good). Rodriguez baffles me.

It's the Leecheimer way. Bruyneel's greatest tactic.
Suck hard with a vengeance.

Maybe too big a stage, when I thought nothing might happen.

Looks like we have just 4 or 5 men left contesting the podium.

I can see your logic, but maybe they were also saving legs thinking a loss of 30 seconds today can be overhauled with fresher legs on a transition stage tomorrow. Or the stage into Ax Domaines

Not good enough is not good enough. But the way he looked after the stage tells me there's something else.

From the way he seemed to recover on the descent I'd say he had the hunger knock. You can't forget to eat, Cadel!

Agreed. It definitely looked like a hunger knock, but I guess we'll know for sure later.
