Possible that Giro field will not include any prior GT winners? Or perhaps Hart and/or Bernal?

I wouldn’t be surprised if Simon Yates goes to the Giro, I wonder if Movistar send Quintana.
I would personally find it fun if we had a GT in which no prior GT winners started.

If all the GC riders who haven't won a GC went to the Giro, who would be the top 3?
Yates or Ayuso being top favourite?

My information is that Yates will again ride the TDF, despite murmurings in the press. Lets see who is right.

Theodor Storm was set to join Ineos Grenadiers from the start of 2025 but GCN now reports that the rider will skip the season in continental ColoQuick and turn professional with the British team from 2024 right away.

If all they do is press the young talents into the service of their GC or British riders on all stages who are not winning and not given their opportunities in line with their talent, its basically a waste of time and effort. Also due to the work put in, one is already tired even when the right opportunity comes along making it a non opportunity which leaves them open to failure but also cause them to doubt their talent and capability, thereby reducing their market value.

Ineos have only G and Rodriguez as a GT rider who could podium so the kiddies have a big chance in the near future. The interesting thing is Ineos seem to building a good classics/one day team.

Agree, with Sheffield, Turner, Pidcock, the Hayters, Tarling and Ganna there are some potential big wins. But I'm not sure if that's a good idea for a British team built on TdF wins.

Maybe Arensman will pan out. He has looked at times like a real talent.

And that's also why in 2020 they dropped those pesky foreigners Froome & Thomas from the Tour team and put their faith in proper British chaps Bernal, Carapaz and Sivakov.

How much Sir Jim & Sir Dave are going to be interested in pro-cycling, now that Sir Jim has bought (a part of) his childhood favourite soccer team, and it's going to take some more cash and lots of time to get them back to their glory days. With all the coming and going this year at Ineos it won't be a surprise if Sir Jim looks for a potential buyer next year, or a merger with another team.
