Well it would be incredibly stupid to give journalists a tour whilst they're injecting kids with EPO. It wouldn't be hard to hide evidence of a doping program whilst giving journalists a tour.
yap.
but i think matparker is only pretending to be incredibly stupid.
i mean you can't really be that stupid.
he probably knows this.

It would also be incredibly stupid to inject kids with EPO and allow journalist's anywhere near them.

So having a house in the same town is now proof of doping,

the clinic gift that just keeps giving:D

You continually disrupt discussions (esp sky related) by slamming the clinic and yet you keep coming back?

That is trolling.

Why? Just tell the kids they're vitamins to help you turn pro and you're good to go.

I have no idea if they're dodgy or not, but there are plenty examples across sports of kids taking PEDs and having media profiles.

What have kids with media profiles got to do with it?

We are talking about kids coming to a training camp and journo's having access, not kids that have decided on PEDs for themselves, it they where being injected EPO it is likely some would not be happy and talk.

You said it was stupid to inject kids with EPO and allow journalists anywhere near them. Kids with media profiles = contact with journalists.

Er no - Kids who have been under the thrall of a sporting director and who are told they are getting IRON injections becasue the team doctor has stated they are anemic is just one of the old stories told by juniors in various teams, that and vitamins or immunations because of a race in a different country.

East Germany, Russia, China all did this in their olympic programs and racing teams have been doing it for years as well. Much like starving riders to get their weight down to a suitable level to make them more competitive so the drugs would have a better effect.

Have you ever actually spoken to a professional bike rider or soigneur or anyone involved in bike racing because it comes across as if you haven't and have no idea of what this sport is about.

Might i suggest you give it a try before coming on here looking stupid by denying the existence of things that have been going on for years

Something a few seem to be noticing is that Swift wasn't really isolated when Kennaugh was in the break. He had a few (trade) team-mates and future (trade) team-mates around him.

Please stop. At this point you are just making this stuff up. What journos would bother to show up at an under-23 development camp anyway? Who is going to pay for that article?

Carmichael and Wenzel were running a mandatory doping program for what is now called under-23 elites in the U.S.

Happy to be on the elite squad? Yes.
Happy to dope to stay on the elite squad? Some yes, some no.
The unhappy ones left or got fired.
Then what? No sanctions, no arrests. Nothing.

We know at this point part of the pitch talented young riders got in the West, not just the U.S. was a "well funded, advanced medical program." Doping.

What happens to talkers? Blacklisted and personal attacks from the sports administrators.

Well the last two posts settle it in my mind.

If the US were doping their juniors in the 1980s, and USPS and Ferrari were doping in Quaratta in the 2000s then the only conclusion is that the UK U23 academy must be using its house in Quaratta to dope now. Join the dots people.

Oh come on. Del was arguing that nobody would dope young riders because a journalist might come and do a tour of the facilities. DirtyWorks' post was in response to that nonsense.

It's outrageous. Doping ended with Armstrong in 2005, and it ended in 2008 when JV declared it uncool and again in 2010 when Sky arrived to win clean.

So doping ended loads of times so it must be sooooooo clean by now!

No, with absolutely no evidence clinic trolls where saying that the UK under 23 academy in Quarratta was used to dope riders, because someone else in the same placew once doped.

But *not* finishing the Worlds - ever - that's something special and worth recording. Can anyone think of a rider with a career record to match that?

Froome's palmarès

Easy...

How about alien™... Mr Horner?

2014 - gone to outer space for re-fill, thus not riding
2013 - DNF
2012 - DNF
2011-2005; not on earth, thus not riding the worlds
2004 - 8th (when still riding clean ;), beating dopers like FSchleck, Basso, Mancebo, Rasmussen, Vino, etc... but unable to get close to sprinters like Zabel, O´Grady, Gomez and Davis in that day. Yikes!)
2003 - 76th
2002 - DNF
1999 - DNF

A whole lot of DNFs and not considering for worlds to be done by Froome to get even close to this all-time No1 doper...
