A case in point is Thomas De Gendt's response to being asked in an interview if he used banned products. He flatly denied it.

**** Wiggins would do well to have a think on that.

It's a thread about Sky. Topic matter is Sky. Conversation revolves around Sky.

His comments are all there to difuse questioning. Go read his posts. Unashamed Sky fanboy. Do the math. Numbers say he most likely is trolling. Not one single post adds anything of note, it's simple misdirection. He's deliberately coming onto this thread and repeatedly doing this. It is the Clinic after all. You don't like that sort of thing, stay out. Most remember that when they read a thread in the Clinic. Some don't and they are usually the trouble makers.

I'm not looking through someone's posts to see if they're fanboys or not, I'll leave that up to you, as you seem to have plenty of time for that sort of thing!

But as for Sky doping,I'll let you into a secret.... it's not just them! I'm aware they're getting it cos Wiggins is in yellow and Froome is top 6 or 7 and rightly so until they can prove otherwise they're in my eyes doping, but surely anyone who keeps up with doped riders for 21 days or tough/hard stages has to be doped themselves! Although shockingly there is a lack of threadage for the other teams.

So you ask for facts and then reply with a trolling post. I should have known better than to respond to someone who is so set on their beliefs.

Like you have any credibility. You spent years trying to convince people that Armstrong was not a doper. Now you have been sucked in by the latest cycling scam.

Andy Murray lost Wimbledon. A sign perhaps of Britain choking? Of them failing to come up short? .

Yes, that's it, we fail to be able to apply the necessary mental skills under pressure, as a whole nation, as a collective event. I think you're onto something

Btw, Mr. Federer might have had something to do with proceedings.

Btw also, nobody told our cricketers.

ArMstrong also denies doping, so what does that mean?

further, it's not my credibility that is behind that bio passport data, so take it up with the authors.

Then please provide another example. Who else has done this? Tell you what, I will ask as many people I know in the gym today if they think what you've said is possible. I'll see how many, cyclists included, laugh at me.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Armstrong

Boxer Henry Armstrong was simultaneously champion in three divisions. Not sure if his weight swing was 12kg, but pretty close to it, alternating between featherweight and middleweight. Admittedly by the time he made middleweight champion he could only go back down to lightweight and not to flyweight, but still shows substantial losses and gains in muscle mass possible while maintaining power, in an era before modern scientific doping.

If your evidence against my argument is "I talked to some people at the gym and to my dietitian, and they laughed" may I suggest you take a course in statistics.

How come OPQS have Boonen on such a good programme, sign Bottle, and do not offer him the same programme?

No!!!

Boonen's level of improvement this season is somewhat of an illusion.

Wasn't far off last year but had bad luck and injuries. This year the tactics were better, he had a strong team, Cancellara was out, the remaining opposition was below usual levels.

Ibarguren may have aided the cause but the jump in success does not correlate to an equal rise in performance.

If your evidence against my argument is "I talked to some people at the gym and to my dietitian, and they laughed" may I suggest you take a course in statistics.

I'd suggest a course of something a little stronger than that.

You are bringing up an example from the 1930's? And a sport that is even more corrupt and manipulated than cycling? Jeebus!

Says the man hiding behind a pseudonym about a rider bashing faceless people he will never see. In person, put him to task, he'll buckle. What's he gonna do? Curse and swear? He's a Pom, any Aussie worth their salt would rip him a new one verbally. Ask our cricket team...no ask the English team. Is he going to hit you? His arm would break. There is only a handfull of pro cyclists who would be pyhsically threatening and on that spectrum he is at the opposite end. My sister could beat Wiggins senseless and she is 5'3."

You also fail to note by engaging the public on that piece of crap called Twitter, you open yourself to ridicule. Twitter is for twits...hence why so many cyclists love it. Self absorbed doping nut jobs mostly. If we were really hating on Wiggins, our language would match his. Duh!

So people who replied to you and OWNED your dumb ar$e, are haters hey? So does that mean you're the opposite? A Sky crotch rider? So what is it, 'spits or swallows?' You know, to borrow an old Austin Powers quote.

You are one mad MTF who I hope never to meet if you are in a bad mood;) Keep giving it to them my mad Aussie friend. No offence intended:)

I feel like that all the time! We all develop and change our views on things as time goes by.

IMO, Wiggins is showing the strain of a man feeling the weight of pressure of being the favourite for yellow, nothing more, regardless of whether he doped or not.

Btw, he may well have apologised to Sastre, for all we know. You're right though, he should have done it publicly.

Im all for changing ones opinions. I dont think enough people do it or are open minded to it, its a quality few have.

But thats not exactly what wiggins has done. He has not gone from thinking doping is rife to thinking it is not, and then explained his progression, his thoughts his arguments.

No, he has regressed from a position of being willing to discuss an issue with some people, to refusing discussion and choosing instead to attack people with insults.

Oh, you're Australian, well that's put everything into perspective.

I admire your staunch defence of your argument, but considering your last several posts just seem to be abuse towards posters and cyclists, I'm not sure where you're going with any of this.

Bahahahaha. Saxon, as I said before, drop the UK from your handle.

I've been calling Rogers and Porte out before Wiggins and Froome. You know, the Aussies on team Sky. Sheesh, get with the program man, you're letting the mother land down. At least make the fanboys antics subtle. Free tip, tell Sky to do the same with the doping. Subtlety works like a charm.

I'm just surprised that getting angry at being called a cheat and a liar is considered to be evidence of doping, when it is equally consistent with not doping.

The journalist didn't say "You are doping". He didn't even say "Are you doping?", he said "What do you have to say to those who might accuse you of it?". He gave Wiggins an opportunity to say something constructive, to say that cycling has a past, that some of the Sky riders have a past, that some of their staff have a past, but they were doing it better this time. He didn't do that, he just attacked those who had the temerity to question him.

Do you not go back and re-read all the pages you miss on a thread? If the answer is no then that would explain you're not being up to date on the posting habits of particular posters. It also explains your second paragraph. No *** doping is going on else where other than Sky. We're not at day 21 yet. This thread is about Sky and took off because it appears Sky have a team based doping program. People doping alone stand next to no chance against a system wide program which has produced the results Sky have done this season. That's the point of this thread...not that anyone hear posting credibly or rationally assumed everyone else was clean. No, we're presuming Sky have a system wide program that has taken it to a whole other level.

Anybody want a shot at translating this diatribe into a coherent argument in English, for my benefit?

Yes, that's it, we fail to be able to apply the necessary mental skills under pressure, as a whole nation, as a collective event. I think you're onto something

Btw, Mr. Federer might have had something to do with proceedings.

Btw also, nobody told our cricketers.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-Murray-sets-epic-battle-Wimbledon-title.html

Go read the comments. England's finest being sullied once again by the lower rank and file. That's how Scotland is viewed. Murray's detractors in the UK arguably outweigh his fans. But this is old news. It's not like there is a running joke about how Murray is a Brit until he loses. Then he is simply Scotish.

Nobody told your cricketers. Bahahahaha. Good job yet again.:p Ask Steve Waugh, Warnie and Glenn McGrath about sledging. History really isn't your strong point. Then go ask Marcus Trescothick why he hurried on back to the UK one Ashes campaign before facing a single ball. He knew the sledging was coming and couldn't cope. Not just from the Aussie cricketers, but the English media, who so graciously turn on their own.

And what is the deal of SKY communicating with ASO about Wiggin's training data? Why a team give race organization training data? Is it a normal practice? If so what's the point?
