The frothing wasn't directed at you so much, more the general flood of comments. And the 3 min comment was from Hoggo, not the commentary, and I haven't read a report, just watched the live stream, which was in Italian.

Perhaps you needed a few more facts? ;)

Stop. READ.

Do you deny that commentators call Froome an Extratrerestial?

Perhaps you don't like it I am throwing verifiable things in your direction and you can I only answer with "I think". And the fact is here that not just the Clinic but regular followers are being shocked. So far you are the only one who thinks it's just another day at the office. And that's a fact too ;)

Yeah, what's up with that? I don't get why he doesn't just take Alberto on his wheel and dial in at 450 up the last climb, then Froome wouldn't be able to attack.

Only Sky do the sports science, margianl gains, proper diet, proper training. Rest are lazy.

Taking 11 secs out of Nibali and 15 out of a 41-year old Horner. Extraterrestrial. Yeah, right? Ha, ha!

I think you may be misunderstanding me

And surely even this forum needs some dialogue

It needs a dialogue on facts. I for one am open for Sky being clean and I see no reason to accuse either Wiggins and Froome yet (though DB must be eradicated from the sport). But I try to point out the facts as much as I can.

My personal belief is worth zip.

So you thought that was the vision of clean cycling?

Good. Cycling is in safe hands. They currently have 18 guys in two countries destroying the opposition.

At one point in Terreno with 7km to go the Sky just about dropped the entire field!

Not normal.

But I'm sure there's a good reason for their total dominance. Plausible.

Yeah, it's great, isn't it? Although technically it's 17, JTL abandoned

The biggest problem with Sky isn't the performance of their leader, but domestiques. And they are able to do it at the same time with differents line-ups. One at Paris Nice and the other in Tirreno.

Just rethinking about US Postal, outside Tour de France and perhaps Dauphine they were unable to bring the logistic.

Sky are bringing 9 man teams to a one week stage race!? Finally the Clinic thread is justified!

It is awesome. I want them to go full ***. I want them to be more ridiculous.

Looking forward to the Skyborgs at PN to crush the field. Should be fun.

Yeah, Ussain Bolt wouldn't beat me by much if he only jogged for the first 15 meters of a 100m sprint either.

UK Postal is in fact not correct, you are right, just call them Mapei All Year Long UK.

+100000000000......... Excellent post.

I'm also looking forward to a senior citizen (Horner at 41) winning the Tour.

Also, Evans at 36, going for the win....

Looks are deceiving once again. Froome is not getting faster. Others are going slower. Final climb today: Froome: 1605 VAM, 5.93 watts/kg, 38 minutes, 22 seconds. Consistent with his prior absolute performances. In 2009, Contador was climbing final climbs early season (P-N) at 1659 VAM, 6.19 watts/kg. He's significantly slower today.

Absolutely shocking.... Mortified here. :(

+1 post
= 5.93 watts/kg + 1
= 6.93 = Pantani, Bertie, Rasmussen

You are right. Been watching cycling for 31 years, only Festina's last week in the Tour of 1997 comes to mind. And that was the Tour. Not Tirreno/Paris-Nice.

Cycling is getting cleaner and cleaner. I am proud to be a withness to that.
