Absolutely shocking.... Mortified here. :(

+1 post
= 5.93 watts/kg + 1
= 6.93 = Pantani, Bertie, Rasmussen

So? Just because Froome dawg is staying within human limits doesnt make it any more believeable.

He is staying within the limits of a few human talents that were at the absolute peak of human ability. That lots of Sky seem to able to get to that level aint normal, then when they Sky leave they cant.

Really impressed today to see that paragon of the heights of human athletic capacity, Senor Bertie, going backwards behind a senior citizen, Horner at 41. Nothing to see here, folks. Move along....

Just tuning into Paris-Nice....

Skyborgs on the front.

Good.

Superb analysis, again, Hog. +0.5.

OPQ destroying the field today, winning at both.

Amazing. Full *** mode.

Yes and if Froome is such a talent himself then surely he would have showed some sign of it in his early career. Same goes for Wiggo and Porte. Its like some random gruppetto rider suddenly turning into the biggest talent in the sport over night.

CyclingNews report says it all...

After Richie Porte’s victory at Paris-Nice on Friday, it was the second time in as many days that a Sky rider had made some hefty – as opposed to marginal – gains in the final kilometre of a summit finish, but the collective might of Sky on the 13.5km that preceded Froome’s attack was perhaps the most striking feature of his win.

“My team did great work. They all helped me to be up there in the finale and fresher than everyone else,” Froome said immediately after crossing the line, acknowledging how his teammates Dario Cataldo, Sergio Henao and Rigoberto Uran had dictated terms all the way up Prati di Tivo, just as Sky had done at last year’s Tour de France, prompting comparisons with the US Postal Service of Lance Armstrong and the Banesto of Miguel Indurain.

A question for the Sky fans; if other teams dominated races like this, what would be your reaction?

Yeah. Absolutely ridiculous.

maybe if contador didnt attack 3km out like it was still 2009 he might finish a lot closer to Froome who has the braincell required to wait till 1km before attacking so he doesnt die before the finish

Yep back in the 80's when some riders were clean, nobody attacked outside 1km to go.

are u being sarcastic netserk? it is pretty clear that clean riders can only sustain a big effort at the end of a MTF for a short time so attacking several km's out is pretty pointless. u will just get slowly reeled back and then have less left for the finish

Sooooo the fans here are saying Froome is now in peak performance and won't be better come TdF?

Looking forward to another season where they stay under 100% so they do not have to peak ^^

Last year it was... "Flat course, no Contador, lots of ITT km's".

Now it's... "Contador should only attack with 1km to go"

No one will beat Sky this year. Skyborgs are go!

Regardless of the reason, seems like the TdF is going to be even more boring than last year. And we'll have to endure even more footage of the guy with arguably the ugliest style in professional cycling.

The only bright spot will be if his air-head gf tees-off on Twitter against the inevitable flood of doping accusations.

Froome will be much better in the tour than this. Didnt he just rise from his death bed after another bilharzia infection?
