Porte won by 10 sec on Ulissi. Evans lost 4 sec to Gerro and Ulissi in the last 200 meters.

I see no problemo in those gaps

But I bet Sky's porridge is a special ultra light, fish net type prepared by properly washed hands.

This is a tough one. Not going to say too much more on it but yes. 16 years of age and placed on a regime which had expectations.

Hackett has also had moments as did many other swimmers in Australia from that era. (A home Olympics will do that).

There's more to follow from this one. I believe once Ian has assessed his current issue he'll make a legally formed confession.

Kerrison does deny it:

Initially, Kerrison was holding down full-time jobs coaching, rowing and swimming, but in the run-up to the Athens Olympics he moved to swimming, still with the Queensland Academy of Sport. There is a misconception, he says, that he worked with Ian Thorpe, but that is not the case. At the QAS, he and a fellow coach, Shannon Rollason, decided to work on the women's sprint, a weak area for the squad, which had a strong record in distance swimming.

It is widely known that Thorpe was coached by Doug Frost
until a well publicised switch to Tracey Menzies after the
2002 Manchester Games.

So lets get the story straight, Kerrison managed to supply Thorpe with PEDs prior to Sydney, even though he was not a swimming coach at the time, as well as currently being involved in a menage a trois with Froome and Portre, where they get high on AICAR?

Sorry, even I don't see the connection.

Your Thorpe story has nothing to do with PED's. He's gone to rehab.

Lord knows any triple gold medalist was unlikely to have been clean at an olympics that took place at the height of the doping era, but that's been known for some time.

Why a totally unrelated story 14 years later is popping up in the Sky thread, I don't get it.
