the rabo tt3 and pt team have nothing to do with each other. also not the same directors

He was part of the tt1 team earlier in his career, he rode Paris-Roubaix with them. There's no way he could've done that with the continental team.

Oh, brother. Nibali was twenty-five years old in 2009. He was not a team leader. In 2012 he was twenty-eight, an age where he should be at his peak. He has developed as expected, and won the Vuelta when he was twenty-six. Wiggins went through that age period and we saw nothing.

we saw nothing at that age period? wiggins tore up everything he did on the track.

Your knowledge of cycling really is embarrassing. Dr Ibarguren will ensure Cavendish has a great season. He worked wonders on Gilbert at Lotto then last year for Boonen at OPQS and now Cav should win a monument or 2.

so he's a doctor who just helps one rider at a team? seems kind of a bad doctor

I do have more than 50% confidence that Froome is clean.
Though I would not want to say how much over that number exactly

As Libertine has said Froome's rise is unnatural. But it is not inexplicable.

indeed. I wonder what these guys said back in 2007, when out of nowhere(for them) soler came down and was one of the best climbers in the world only losing to contador and a filled with dope rasmussen

It took Wiggins ten years of pro tour team road riding to grind himself up to a GT win. It took Nibali five. Which one of those looks more like 'coming out of nowhere'

Wiggins, of couse. He had his chance time and time again to show what he was capable of. He had a hard time keeping up with the autobus. Nibali followed the classic path of good GT riders. His class was evident from the beginning.

You mean the guy who then jumped to a Pro Tour team, was under greater scrutiny from the bio passport, and basically disappeared? That guy?

And I tore up everything in local racing. A big fish in a little pond means nothing. Track is worthless. The real riders are on the road because that is where the money is. There are hundreds of World Tour riders making a 100K plus, and they are just domestiques. Why the hell would any of them waste their time on the track?

he was never in any scrutiny from the bio passport and a guy laying in a coma, he had to quit cycling and thus the pro tour, winning the last race he did. my god what a tasteless a**hole you are. very few riders I will put my hand in the fire for never using dope. soler is one of them

another post showing why you rarely visit the clinic.

Go look at Lotto results and OPQS results never mind Saunier Duvall ;)

lotto, agreed but that was 10 years ago when peloton was still on the juice. he did nothing exceptional at quickstep. they were great ine alry part of season as they always are and after ealry april sucked in almost every race. only difference being that now they had a bunch of expensive great itt guys and gc guys, and what amazing years martin, leipheimer and velits had

F U. You are the one who brought up Soler then when called on it, you try to stop discussion by callously using Soler's accident. The only tasteless ******* here is you.

Soler's accident has nothing to do with him underperforming when he went to a Pro Tour team and was thus under much more scrutiny by the bio passport than he was on a Pro Continental team. Funny enough, Froome was on Barloworld and he sucked afterward until Sky relaxed their anti-doping stance. Coincidence, I am sure.

Nobody gives a damn what the Brits think of cycling. The big boys are on the road. That is where the money is. That is where a rider can test himself against the best in the world. Being a big star on a small island did not stop Wiggins from decing he needed to make money by racing on the road. When tested against the best on the road, we found out just how much talent it took to win those track titles. It was not much.

The year after he decided to give the road a real try he came 4th at the Tour. That sounds like some talent to me?

It would be nice then if Wiggo payed back his salary to his former employers when he didnt give it a real try? Would like to know what Roger Legeay thinks of Wiggo now...

And, by means, he knows talent.
