No he made his back off writing "Rough Ride" an account of his own experiences and doping.

He also wrote on several other sports not just cycling.

He won awards for his books on Rugby and Football.

I know what he did. How he made his name is subjective opinion, and I've given mine. That is by the by, it doesn't matter, its not Kimmages past that is of relevance, it is how he makes his future...a point you failed to address.

Nice try at a deflection.

You don't know a lot do you?

Why get personal?

Oh, I know, it's because you are still smarting from yesterday.

It appears you don't know what he does. He didn't make his back off Armstrong.

Why continue make things up?

He was a professional cyclists then a journalist. Period. Nothing else.

His track record is 100% for calling out doping cyclists/teams.

I like his credibility.

Yours not so much. Probably about time you sent me another photo of Dummies Guide to cover your lack of knowledge on Paul.

I am awake and my head is fine,

It seems you mode of operation though is insult, fairly pathetic stuff though you saddo

Then do everyone here a favour and quit asking stupid questions. Or do you need the adults to hold your hand? The only sad thing here is you didn't know who Fuentes is and the running joke associated with Franck Schleck needing to see a ***** doctor.

There are plenty of new posters on this forum, who aren't pro sky and have demonstrated as much. They're anti-doping. They all seem to have the basics covered. The common knowledge. Why don't you? Do you suffer some cognitive defect that warrants sympathy? By all means speak up.

You're probably confused, so I'll spell it out clearly. I gave an option for Joachim. He can decide whether he was trolling or being a colossal idiot. There is no leeway on that. If a person wants to talk with authority especially about the most infamous doper every to grace the pages of the Clinic, then they need to get their *** right. These weren't debatable ideas, they're well documented and given facts. They are interpreted one way. You also made the mistake of getting this wrong. So if one cannot fathom the basics, how the hell do you expect anyone here with an IQ in triple figures to consider said person as having anything noteworthy to say? After all, by posting one implies they wish to be taken seriously...unless we consider the alternative I gave. They're a troll or for a particular post, trolling per se.

Not hard to understand del. If you don't know, do what the wiser people do and read up and comment when you understand. Most new forumists do exactly that. Hence the first time posts that start by stating they're a long time lingerer. They were getting enough knowledge to form valid and legit reference points. Something a lot of the pro Sky boys from the UK forgot to do. If you're too impatient, then ask a simple polite explanation. Remember the answer and then don't act facetious or obnoxious on the subject matter in the future because nobody needs to be babying adults who cannot or refuse to learn.

If that is too hard to do, then I can only suggest a nice wheel barrow and few kilos of cement are in order, aka, harden the frak up. And drop the act, you're the one who was insulting our intelligence. Haven't heard of Fuentes and Schleck...nice one dude. Nice one.

Spare me the condescending essay (you seem to take a lot of words just to throw around insults), the gynecologist has no reference to Sky (this thread) or perhaps despite your keyboard diaoreah that is beyond your understanding, so it should not be used in this context, other riders other teams other threads ...........

Anopther insulting post of trolling by you, Schleck has f-all to do with Sky, so someone posts about it, why don't they go post it on a Schleck thread, if you cant do that do us all a favour and shut your keyboard diahorreah up

Wow, you just went full ***. You were the one who asked about the gynecologist. Man, you really really need to read up on pro cycling champ. You have no clue. No clue.

Shut up? Del, I'm not the whining pom who doesn't know who Fuentes is. You mentioned him despite not knowing who he was. Take your lesson and get over your little ego. How old are you? You couldn't possibly be 50. Because if you are...well any intelligent 50 year old who is a cycling fan, least of all a member of the Clinic, well the things you were asking about are common knowledge.

One last free tip. You and the rest of the Sky fanboys should all get together and blow off some steam. 2013 is going to be a BIG year for Sky in the Clinic. You all just passed up the excuse to celebrate, now you're going to get the flack. All should be full steam mid March. Lots of new source material. If you cannot handle the responses given, then don't post comments stating daft statements lacking in validity and knowledge. As I said, read up on the basics like ALL NEWBIES HAVE HAD TO DO. Because you're pro Sky, doesn't mean you get to skip that move and pass GO and collect a free $200. Oh but that's the point isn't it. The Sky fanboys EXPECT a separate rule set for themselves...as I said, you should have been partying the past day or so. 2013 is going to be a real doozie

let's talk dan hunt.

new sky ds.

took him just 2.5 years and alot of 'enthusiasm' to turn donkeys into race horses:
In 2005 Dan was contacted by the Great Britain Cycling Team to transform the then failing Women’s Endurance Team. Through Dan’s enthusiasm, leadership, vision, and shared British Cycling values and philosophies, he led the transformation of a failing programme into one that produced 4 Olympic Medals in just two and a half years. http://www.triathlonireland.com/assets/files/Dan Hunt Biography.pdf

sadly, you're right. a couple of pro-sky posters here show serious signs of hypersleep.
they remind of that lady who got in a coma one year before the Berlin Wall fell, and woke up one year after it had fallen: the whole world around her had changed, and she wasn't able to grasp it.

you're right to remind us of the trolling. they do it in disguise and it causes a lot of repetitive and circular postings.

I was more than willing to say nothing. Joachim's first post was blatantly dumb. "Armstrong never tested positive." That says it all. But I figured that everyone was dealing with these guys, so no problem.

Alas, another person jumped in and not once, but twice. I couldn't care less if this discussion concerned 'interpretive' elements, like, let's say Tennerife or what Wiggins eats for breakfast, or Leinders and Sky's hiring policy regarding doctors. But it wasn't. It was common info that is concrete and is a universal given. The type of thing that I said would only be argued by someone who is ill informed, an idiot or a troll. Especially that LA line. I would have been laughing if the posters tone wasn't from a similar thought repeatedly over the next 5+ pages. Didn't leave much wriggle room IMO.

I can only imagine how frustrating it must get for those who post here every day to have the same issues dragged up again and again. Libertine even said on one post, "not this again." Maybe some people don't have very good memory recall functionality. Which for me is hard to fathom, but it's possible. I'm not saying pro Sky statements are potentially trolling or stupid. Only those I highlighted because they are unique. Any poster on this forum should be thoroughly embarrassed for stating things that daft. It's like a mathematician who doesn't know the correct order of operations and then proceeds to lecture a class full of well versed students of Linear Algebra. Only one thing will happen.

Just embarrassing. Well I thought so, until someone replied back. I seriously hope the Brits are still drunk from new years. Other wise I don't like the alternative.

Cowards always believe in censorship.

How big of you not to stomach your own blatant ignorance. I guess when one is a sock puppet for a known Pro Sky poster, or at token glance, appears to be their clone, running away and hiding is the bigger move. Chapeau to you. Some lessons really are too hard.

This guy is really going to get a ribbing here in the Clinic when 2013 racing is in full swing.

What could Wiggo do to help prove his innicence.Obviously he wouldn't hand over all his data to someone like Kimmage. What he could do his hand over his data to a respected doping scientist for analysis. Not a celebrity scientist like Ashenden, but someone who doesn't seek the limelight and is only well known within his field.

Seriously? Are you out of your mind? Who else is as qualified as Dr Ashenden? Have you followed the JV threads (there are two in which he has posted)? He's already mentioned this...they won't give Ashenden their data ever, because they're afraid of him.

It's like some parts of the forum are stuck next to a black hole in 2012 and all the common sense is being drained out of them. Go and look up the group Ashenden works with. "Celebrity scientist." Best laugh I've had all day. If you knew about Ashenden, you'd have one conclusion to draw...nobody else is more qualified.:p

I amazed it took people this long to figure out. The part where he/she/it said Armstrong never tested positive was pure trolling garbage. And yet people kept feeding this imposter for another five plus pages before you left this quote. Then when a mod replied, might have been Ferryman or Ferminal or Red Flanders...well the lies to cover their idiocy came out and they conveniently attempted to dodge their initial true intent.
Yep, just ignore the boy. How do you feel now since he put u on the ignore list? Must be dissappointed now, lol. The little boy has a big inore list build up in two weeks time, just ignore him back.

Kimmage is of course dead right on Sky, we only need the smoking gun. It will come, it always comes.

Ah the Pharmstorng boy says Kimmage is right, what was it you were saying on another thread about wonderboy getting a bad deal, how did you feel about PK's question to Armstrong at the Tour of California, (the one with the guy who said he was only thinking about doping)

Just sayin'
That's plagiarism. Page 17 of the Armstrong/Bruyneel/Stapleton handbook.

del1962 said:
So what Kimmage is saying is that preparing and working as a team is evidence of doping, while not having teamwork (such as left on your ow at the airport) is not.

Oh, and dont go to tenerife, I guess by Kimmage logic anyone who goes to Amsterdam visits a brothel
Kimmage logic says that a handful of men from one team cannot control/destroy the entire peloton for three weeks. The Wiggins/Froome transformations, Michael Freiburg's resurgence/dominance, the dodgy doc, the quick dismissals/transfers of people who might raise too many eyebrows once the goal was achieved, Tenerife, it would be illogical not to see a comparison to USPS.

Love the paranoid 'sock puppet' attack. You don't realise how amusing that is from where I'm standing :D

Anyhoo, I am going to put you on ignore for two reasons. The first because you have nothing at all to say but you say it very loudly and secondly because there is no point trying to have a discussion with somebody as antagonistic as yourself.

Bye-bye!

At the end of the day, I live in a country where it doesn't rain non stop. I can count without needing to take off my socks and I can freely question anything I want and draw my own conclusions. But to top it all off, I also have a very, very good memory and don't make silly gaffs about basic info and then get upset when I am corrected.

Also I am really, really, really good at Gears of War, among other random things. So yeah, proud enough to be able to laugh at myself. At least you can reply to people without running away like a coward. That's braver than blocking the person pointing out your faults. Unfortunately, to those who don't know, this isn't Facebook, YouTube or XBox LIVE. You really can't block people. One can still find you in cyberspace...:p Not that I am stalking you.

I have a feeling Sky will underperform this season- not because of lack of talent-but to disipate a bit what the public & now the critics have already perceived on what's behind their success. They might play their cards on small races-but I doubt they'll risk another suspicions build up, following the LA case.....
