The latest news on Leinders? Yep only the dumbest fob could figure out he was conducting a doping programme at Rabobank. We knew that yesterday and last week. Does that mean he was conducting a doping programme at Sky?

Good question. What was he doing at Sky?

comment from chasing wheels in the comment section of thisarticle

I am absolutely incredulous every time I hear that no doctors from outside cycling in the UK could be found with experience in dealing with infection/illness and allowing the patient to continue operating under load and at high intensity in extreme heat. It seems a bit of a nonsense given that for nearly 10 years the British Army has been developing world-class expertise in exactly that sort of remit in Iraq and Afghanistan while making quite a few redundancies. You'd expect there to be a doctor or two knocking around from that.

c) Doing the other things that non-doping Team doctors do.

Good triple multiple choice answers, hog!

I don't know which combination of those three are true, but hey, neither do you.

nice blog contribution from tom english. sorry for cross-posting

http://www.scotsman.com/sport/tom-english-wiggins-soft-pedals-on-lance-armstrong-1-2741865

Now he is unhappy at aspersions being cast at his own Team Sky despite their history of employing people whose link to performance-enhancing drugs was, in some cases, 99% north of “one per cent”. They’re gone now but they were there alongside Wiggins for long enough and nothing was said. Gert Leinders, Sean Yates, Bobby Jullich, Steven de Jongh, Fabio Bartolucci – all members of the management team until the very recent past, all connected with doping.

If people are, as Wiggins puts it, “venting their anger in all different directions” then it’s understandable. The Wiggins of 2006 would have been venting at the Team Sky of 2012, of that there is no doubt. If people like Kimmage didn’t vent in the first place, then nothing would have happened. We’d still be living this lie of Armstrong as hero. The Tour would still be whizzing along as a grotesque pharmacy on wheels.

Play the post, not the poster.

Pretty elementary forum etiquette, son.

P.s. like the post title you've put in there. We can add homophobia to your list of qualities.

To all those who routinely gave the *** argument that since Sky is the only thread with 10 000 posts everyone must think that sky is the only team in the peloton that is doping and ergo everyone is biased against sky.

Take a look at this.
http://forum.cyclingnews.com/showthread.php?t=19772&page=3

Oh look 3 pages and everyone says he doped. Do we need to all write it 500 times each so that the thread reaches 10 000 posts to prove that we think Indurain doped, or will - yes he doped, and the fact that no one defends him, suffice

I got thinking about this (apologies if this was discussed here last year):

USADA believes one-in-a-million chance Armstrong rode 2009, 2010 Tours clean

If we take those odds, and then look at the infamous "suspicious list" from the 2010 Tour de France - where Armstrong was only rated a 4, and Wiggins was a 5 - what are the odds USADA would give that Wiggins rode the 2009 tour clean?

10,000,000 to 1?

And what about Mick Rogers with an 7? What's that, a billion to one?

I'm not sure you are comparing the same data set.

Besides, I'm equivocal about the 'suspicion list'. Armstrong's recent validation of the efficacy of the bio-passport doesn't fill me with confidence :D

What was Bartalucci doing at Sky?

They start out with a policy of not hiring any doctors who had previously worked in cycling and then after just one year they bring on board two doping doctors? You couldn't make it up!

Brailsford needs to be held to account for his unethical and irresponsible actions and given his P45.

@Mark_Renshaw has beaten his best power numbers 2wice today.. 1750w and 1774w vs 1700 last year.. 5% gain. Congrats for the hard work done !

There was an article in the ozzie press ferminal linked to somewhere where they said Orica greenedge is bringing in new sports science into cycling like sky did.

They build dummies of riders and test them in wind tunnels. Also they brought in this new revolutionary techinique called "slimming down".

Looks like its paying off:)

Why the personal attack?

If you are so sure of yourself why do you feel the need to resort to insults, let alone the ridiculous hypothetical about what you think I might hypothetically believe?

If you've nothing to offer other than school playground insults, stay away.

Says the poster who was banned for trolling.

Quite apart from the above being totally wrong, I've no interest in engaging with your attempt to draw me into childish bickering. Use the ignore feature, son.

OOPs I was gettin him mixed up with Mick Ferrari Rogers...they do look very similar :) and mick rogers..mark renshaw..even got the same initials.

I thought wtf, when you posted that.
Quite a faux pas, right there.
Not knowing Renshaw HTC->Rabo-Blanco and nowhere near Sky.
Far more telling than anything else you've posted.

Still, at least you were honest enough to point out your mistake,
so we won't dwell on it, or post any immature internet babble.

Hitch's reply is also telling.
