You have to wonder if he'd gone with that angle if Dowsett was still with Sky. Somehow I doubt it.del1962 said:Since Mr Walsh is being discussed here he seems to have upset Dowsett

I think it was about his comments (Dowsetts) about Lance

Again, in the piece it says Dowsett would "later change his view".The Hitch said:Does Dowsett not get a chance to say that actually he always hated Lance, like wiggins and bailsford did?
Which Walsh already addressed with Wiggins when he interviewed him.Benotti69 said:How strange and it also points to Walsh appearing pro Sky because the biggest hypocrite on Armstrong has to be Wiggins, the guy who he has being praising the last 2 days.
Dr. Maserati said:Yet in that piece he highlights that Dowsett was on Team Sky.

@DavidWalsh said:...
Accuse me of bias if you wish but gutsy performance by Wiggins to hang in as he did. ...
The Hitch said:He gave wiggins a chance to explain himself. He has not given that chance to dowsett.
Did walsh in any of his articles write about wiggins - "wiggins 32, who was Lance Armstrong's most fanatical defender during his comeback"
or anything of the like?

Benotti69 said:And there he is today giving Wiggins false praise...
Wiggins not showing any guts in his descending at all. Opposite. Then the current best TTer in the world with the strongest team in world getting back on in the flat stretches aint gutsy. Might be gutsy for neo pros in their 1st GT from a wildcard team but not the biggest team in the world.
It either shows complete lack understanding racing or undeserved praise from Walsh. Walsh has been going to races as a Journalist since early 80's. I think it is the latter.

Walsh is biding his time...he's got a big fish to catch...
Slowly slowly catchey monkey.
I don't get why you're being so apologetic. Walsh wrote a very harsh comment on a young rider who just took the biggest win of his career. A very-likely-to-be-clean young rider, considering his condition. At the same time he's fawning over the far dodgier Wiggins and his epic ride against the elements. It's a double standard, one that very much hurts his credibility, considering the team he's currently rooming with are the ones getting a pass.Dr. Maserati said:Yet in that piece he highlights that Dowsett was on Team Sky.

I've been out on the bike this morning, watching the Giro this afternoon. Why don't some of you guys find another to sport to follow if this one is so rotten to the core??![]()
