it always surprises to hear a cyclist has a chest infection........in my experience of once having a chest infection i was in no condition to venture outside let alone cycle over high passes

is it not a cold troubling brad?

+ at that time my gp informed me that i suffered from mild asthma he prescribed me an inhaler.............i never used it once .........and have never had breathing problems since

Good to see you maintaining your position of debating Wiggins in a rational fashion, without letting your obvious crush on him colour your posted views!

I don't think Wiggins was 'dominant' in the Tour. Froome? But happily, in my considered opinion, both clean riders. Not my favourite team, but happy to acknowledge that there are people in this world who are honest. Not everyone is a cheating scumbag.

Not all cheats are scumbags.

I guess not, but cheating is scumbaggish behaviour.

Cheating is wrong. Doesn't make someone a scumbag. Cheating other cheats might not be seen a scumbagish behaviour. Cheating fans is though.

Problem with cyclig is that it does nto really take the fans into much consideration. Probably because we dont pay to attend events, but then we are expected to buy the sponsors products.

Look at you all soft on dopers. Every doper is a cheating scumbag and in all likely hood cheated in many other parts of their lives. You just have a crush on some dopers so you forgive them.

This is ridiculous.

When something is widespread, moral responsibility is diluted.

The sense of responsibility in cycling is greater in terms of not speaking out against doping than actually doping.

In your opinion, who dominated whom in the final TT? Or was it even?

Is it your argument that ianfra does not believe Wiggins was dominant at the Tour because on 2 occasions Froome managed to ride away from Wiggins on a climb?

Was there anyone else in the race beyond these 2 riders? Did Wiggins dominate any of them?

Whats with the inquisition?

Since when is sheltering in the pack on climbs dominating?

Funny how Wiggo can shelter in the "pack" (I take it you mean Sky train), but very few, if anyone else could.

So in effect, not only Wiggo, but Sky in general, dominated there, despite your memory of what occurred.

Yes Benotti69, being a female poster one does sometimes detect a little too much romance in the air on this forum at times:)

I was thinking today, I need to charge up my batteries so that I can get to do some serious Dave Brailsford management and Sky deconstruction as and when the requirement arises. It's always just too important an opportunity to miss!

Like for example, why did DB in a press statement, just prior to the start of the Giro, state that Wiggins would not be leader for Sky team in the TdF, that the spot had been reserved for Froome back in eeerrrr January (scratch head). Eeerrr, another FUBAR management gaff by Brailsford? or an elaborate plan to derail Wiggins chances in the Giro by putting his "mind else where"?

Anyones guess....

You think it's been a bit of a disaster for Sky, then you remember two stage wins and Uran in third overall and team's new Giro leader

That'll be a great relief to Sudanese war criminals and the like.

"What??!! You chopped her hands off?? and then you did what?"

"But they all were doing it, sir!"

"really? All of 'em?"

"well, not all, but lot and lots of 'em, sir, yes."

"Fair enough, so."

Remember when American coverage had the Armstrong tracker during his comeback and we all LOLed as he fell apart in 2010? Looks like the Brits have their own version. It must have been rough today.

From CN comments:

"I for one am getting tired of 4th place Wiggo having his own special time window blocking the view of the live coverage. Not to mention the brit centric excuse machine of commentators rattling off excuse after excuse ad nauseum at this point Go Uran I say!"
