Exactly.

It's Prudhomme who'll give the orders to Sky to make it look less ridiculous. We're gonna see some terrible acting from Dawg and the borgs.

This has actually happened/is happening.

Sky is still the only team in the peleton who insist on anti doping contracts which require no past doping charges and clauses where they can charge riders for bringing the team/sponsors into disrepute if their are revelations in the future. On the face of it they are the cleanest team out there.

If all we are going to do is used compared results as evidence of doping then cycling is really never going to get free of the unclean image. Progress is still going to happen without doping.

There is hope at the end of the tunnel after all :)

********. Virtually all teams have clauses that render a contract null and void if a rider is suspended or "brings the team/sponsors into disrepute". Katusha (KATUSHA!) made everyone sign a document to this effect years ago and it caused quite the controversy at the time. Not signing people with past doping charges, but then bringing in the likes of Rogers, Julich and Leinders is just a joke. Blatant PR posturing.

Nothing that happens today will change the extraterrestrial ride by Porte and Froome that we saw yesterday.

Indeed. Let's not forget that Richie Porte was laughing his way up the col yesterday while everybody else looked on their limit.

Its funny how those who appeal to fans to stop being sceptical in the name of a "clean image" demand that their favourite riders who also happen to be the best riders, be the face of that clean image.

Whats the reason for Froome riding as fast as Armstrong if he isn't doping.

And how fast do you believe Froome could have ridden yesterday if he did get put on a doping programme?

Does anyone know Froome's aerobic capacity?

If we look at Armstrong, we know it was historically low compared to other TDF winners which points to, naturally speaking, Armstrong not being a man for the mountains.

Aerobic capacity the key indicator of a mountain climber is it?

I thought it was - could be wrong though? ;)

Remember based on the numbers Armstrong was never going to succeed at the TDF but obviously the taking of something changed all that unlike GL who is well known to have a high V02max.

Hey Sky haters it looks like Sky aren't doing well today, quick lets get back to criticising their performance instead of speculating they are all on drugs.

EPO and blood doping increase the VO2max - that's how that kind of doping works.

Yes that's why I said naturally speaking LA shouldn't be a GC grand tour contender

Feel free to start a Movistar thread. I doubt you'll get anything but "Yep", "Duh" and "Of course".

We don't yet know if Porte is play-acting, regrouping, or if he really did go too far yesterday and has paid for his arrogance.

He'll probably come back like Landis did and drop everybody else as he rides back into 2nd place
