true but it won't happen

brailsford will conveniently drop the idea

If I remember correctly, Brailsford said he would be agreeable to releasing the data to an independant panel, if everybody else did. He probably said it in the knowledge that'll never happen.

I do wonder what would have happened if Wiggins had not crashed the 2011 Tour.

Sky Wiggins and the British media were saying he could win the Tour. Of course i and others dismissed it, but looking at in in hindsight he won the Dauphine and if he was as good as in 2012, the way the mountains were raced it would actually have been very possible.

Not sure about that, I think he would have lost big time on the Alpe stage and/or the Galibier stage. Plus Evans put in a superb TT.

Was today part of the plan? Pretending to be weak?

No. That was just further proof that Sky is dumber than dirt when it comes to any sort of race tactics. People give JV stick for being a terrible DS but JV is Sean Freaking Kelly compared to the gits at Sky.

Non-Froomite Sky is very weak, that should be accepted at this point in my opinion. I wonder why their superior training methods stopped working so suddenly?

But surely with that magic potion they got that turned Froome into the best climber in the world they could have kept him at the front? I mean that's miracle stuff they got there. I'd say it must be part of some grand scheme to make themselves look more believable.

Maybe you can clue Sky in to a drug that increases tactical savvy instead of VO2Max. Real racing sometimes involves more than staring at a power meter.

Sky are worthless at tactics, but it's pretty obvious that other than Froome and Porte they're physically quite weak right now.

I don't think Sky ****ed up tactically, they simply couldn't do anything about it. Saxo, OPQ and Belkin too strong.

Didn't RR say something about an AICAR test? ;)

It was Froome.

Saw some idiot on twitter saying "why did Froome allow saxo to ride away?"

Yep, he was there with Kwiatkowski but he couldn't do it it seems.

Galibier is 6% average so perfect for wiggins. If guys like Voekler Rolland and Cunego surivived it it should be no problem for wiggins who on 2012 form is twice the climber of any of them.

Alpe was soft pedalled too. The place Wiggins may have lost time is like Schleck in Gap.
