Sky still doing USPS....

latest BS rom Brailsford........

"We've got a new governance officer. We scrutinize in real detail all the information that we get and our monitoring I'd say is second to none. That's the learning from it."

So why are they still hiring Servais Knavens...

This guy won Paris Roubaix on Domo Farm Frites when that team took the podium, yes 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Clean of course otherwise he wouldn't be working on Sky!

no governance on Knavens past......

i still think Porte is going to win this. much better at the TT than nibali and if he can pull off another 2013 Ax3d performance it's entirely possible that he could take back a minute or so before the TT. it's long from over IMO.

wait for nIbAnI smashes everyone in the final ITT, how many seconds he lost to Wiggins in the first ITT?

in 2012? he lost 2:07 in the 1st TT and 3:38 in the 2nd (1:13 behind Porte)

come on, i was talking about Giro 2013 ITT, 2013Giro nibali is significant better than 2012 Tour Nibali. And 2014 tour Nibali could be even better than 2013 Giro Nibali. Plus the Itt route this year is more like 2013 hilly route than 2012 pan flat route.

yeah and 2013 Wiggins wasn't anywhere close to 2012 Wiggins either

This JTL thing really raises the question, what exactly is a "zero tolerance policy"?

Sky don't seem to be doing much to scrutinise their potential recruits - such as asking, "How come this guy is suddenly so good in his mid-20s".

There doesn't appear to be any history of them sacking anyone based on their in-house testing. (Unless they're doing this on the quiet.)

They don't even seem to avoid riders with dubious reputations. (Cherry picking riders from the top of the 2010 TdF leaked list.)

So what is it? Except for sacking people after they get banned?

We now know that at best they had no idea what made Froome good, but decided to lie on his behalf and claim it was because of their training (though they knew it was a lie) and follow the Bilharzia lie too.

Let's admit it, for SKY haters everywhere it has been a bad day in the mountains.

"Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem".

Also, claim you were lied to and make people sign a piece of paper promising that they've never been involved in doping, but don't actually check whether they are being honest when they sign it. You know where they got that idea from? Another well known clean team. Катюша. What's more, the one Sky rider they got from said team didn't sign it due to some of its rather unfair conditions - although he's far from being one of Sky's more suspicious riders.

Sky made a big song and dance of incepting a zero tolerance policy, scaled it back on the quiet, then acted indignant when the Reasoned Decision forced them to acknowledge the past of some of their riders and staff (Yates and Barry, for example) and claimed they had been misled, lied to etc., even though the amount of naïveté you would have to display to believe guys like that were true to their words of innocence would be truly mind-boggling.

Hasta la vuelta, baby!

More like a bad day for Sky fans.

People dont hate sky per se, it is their hypocrisy. There is a difference.
