Wind tunnell for uphill sprinting like an egg beater but not for TT. (See Froome and the Kimmage interview.)

Yes, and you know JV wants in on some wind tunnel testing for climbing.

2015 is looking set for a fantastic year of sports fraud. So exciting!:D

Outcome focus, Podium people, Marginal gains, The human mind, Culture and core, and Winning behaviour.

Is this for real? Tell me someone is making this up?

This is like something from '2012', for God's sake. 'Podium people' just makes me think of some dodgy 1970s dance troop…horrible mental image of Froome in leg-warmers and leotard…

It's like those lame corporate motivational posters from he 80's.

It ties in nicely with Brailsford infomercials playing on late night TV. 1-800-BRAILSFORD - You too can be a Tour de France winner wih Brailsford Self Help Guides.

Can someone please photoshop a poster of a cyclist having a blood transfusion with 'winning behaviours' over the top.

What do you think the 'principle' (?!) of 'culture and core' actually means?

This is why I'm so excited for 2015. I can't even come up with a terrible analogy it's so terrible. :D

The jokers on the management committee must be living on some other planet.

2015 is going to be AWESOME.

I tend to agree. After they watched Saxo last year Brailsford has to go Def Con 5. Good news for the importers of AICAR.

What staggers me is that they seem completely unaware of how this ****e makes them sound. I find their blind-spot in this regard utterly baffling. As you say, it's beyond even satire its so terrible.

I imagine Oleg Tinkoff, self-made millionaire, just wetting himself laughing at the idea that 'all businesses should adopt these principles'.

Roche to Froome (whispered voice): "Alberto says it's not good to ride with your elbows sticking out. He also says f*** aerodynamics - you need to get out of the saddle to attack on a climb. Oh, and AC says watch out for Porte. That little dude is not to be trusted."

These things take time....or until Sky thinks everyone has forgotten.

Why you gotta hate on Sky so much? The UCI a spectacular legacy of announcing investigations into controversy and then the matter is never brought up again. Never asked by reporters, nothing. Just vanished from media.

They handled that Leinders thing with grace. Lienders was only tending saddle sores... Oh, and that backdated TUE for Froomie huffing an inhaler on the bike, during a race, with the video feed rolling, was all perfectly within the rules.

This sport is full of integrity.

incredible how history repeats.

For Armstrong the superstar athlete, his slavish attention to minute detail is much more than an amusing or frustrating personality quirk. It is a way of life....

"Yeah, I've heard that 'Mr. Millimeter' stuff," he says. "This is a natural obsession.
Chance brought them together, but
attention to detail turned Lance Armstrong and Johan Bruyneel
into one of the most successful rider and coach partnerships in
cycling history...
?We both really want to pay attention to details. We draw
up a plan and never improvise and see how thing go,? he said.

Brailsford coined the phrase "the aggregation of marginal gains", and these five words perfectly illustrate Brailsford's management style. His attention to detail is unparalleled. He was the first manager in cycling to look at each and every area of performance in order to gain an advantage for his athletes over their rivals, and he transferred these methods to Team Sky with similar success.
Brailsford's satisfaction is derived from the self-perpetuating nature of the system he has created, by delegating authority to individuals who share his acuity, drive, restlessness and obsessive attention to detail.

Bruyneel?s approach worked to perfection and was soon being
emulated by other teams.
It has been said that Brailsford's life is utterly consumed by his work but his methods have been so successful that every sport in Britain now aspires to be a paradigm of British Cycling.
