It counts for him, but I don't really count a charge of 'knowing or believing to dope riders' is actually about riders being doped by him because there's no evidence with that statemen
I wish Willy Voet had thought to tell the cops that all the stuff he had on him wasn't for riders, just someone else on the team.

Voet had physical evidence of illegal doping products in his car, computer files to prove the riders were using EPO and the riders were tested for EPO while in custody and all bar one tested positive or admitted doping lol.
This is my entire point, doping accusations and certainly any sanctions used to involve actual doping, proven evidence, not an unknown person making a statement to a newspaper taken as the truth blindly while it's protected by affidavit and an email trail where there was more evidence the testogel didn't end up with riders than did. Not a single rider involved in any investigation by UKAD, WADA, UCI, DCMS or GMC either and none sanctioned.

Discussing Team Sky's "winning behaviours" initiative, Wiggins said, "I don't know what it meant."
"I remember all that crap they came out with," he went on to say. "I mean, it's the same thing Dave Brailsford's doing the same now at Manchester United – Project 21 or whatever it's called."
Wiggins added a harsher evaluation of Brailsford, despite the former team manager's sparkling career achievements, claiming, "He's just a bluffer".
"I don't know how any of that… that was more, maybe for the staff, the winning behaviours thing," he said.

"I wish I'd said what I thought"

Go on then, now's your chance, do it, I'll be the first to listen, instead of just whingeing and making self-indulgent allusions to things in the press without elaborating like you've been doing for the last 10 years.

It's like your drunk menopausal aunt vagueposting on facebook at 4am, 2 many snakes in this town just focusing on me and the kids from now on.

It's evident to me that Wiggins is literally "this close" (insert length of little pinky finger) from saying what he really did to win the 2012 TdF with Sky. The problem is always the same though: he'd get sued to oblivion and Froome, Sky and co would deny everything.

Brailsford, useless without Jiffy bags and a doctors laptop floating in the sea……

Malachy Clerkin: “At Manchester United, this awful season is everybody’s and nobody’s fault”

'Actually, its the fault of the minimum wage cleaners & receptionists, hence why to improve our synergies & to develop our unique & one of a kind bespoke business parameters & enhance our methodologies and deep seek new potential avenues of revenue streams, i'm sacking even more minimum wage staff. We're all in this together you know' - Sir Ratcliffe

do you remember when -cycling was in danger- when Sky dared to win some GT?

the 2018 Froome-Finestre was SLOW

because Froome was a fraud. he beat clean riders while doping and/or using a motor.
Must have been slow motors then. @pastronef ’s comment is right IMO. Contrary to prevailing opinions climbing times in the Sky era were pedestrian compared to the Armstrong era and since 2020.

eg Geraint Thomas was timed at 41 minutes on the Alpe when he won in 2018. Pogi & Vingo took 38 minutes in 2022. And based upon PdB in last years Tour Marco’s record on the Alpe looks shaky if Pog and Vingo attacked that now.

Pogi suddenly started pushing 10% more w/kg than he ever had previously, in the 3rd week of the Tour last year, and in that form, he'll take two minutes off the AdH record.

Yes, they sucked.

The question then becomes: a) how did they manage to suck so bad with all the pineapple juice, pillows, specialized training regimes adopted from swimming, jiffy bags, testo patches, TUEs and miraculous transformations; and, more seriously, b) how come the new kids on the block do not suck the same way?

Damn, I guess I miss the sky days.

I became I big Sky fan because of its wild obsessed haters. Digger, Oufeh, Maximus etc on here and twitter. Florecita caling his son stupi child, many others with many examples. people obsessing about Froome's carbon chain catcher, about how he held a coffee cup, about his weight, about the stickers on his wheels. cheering when they missed to catch a bottle, cheering for a puncture, blaming "former Sky rider" when some rider did anything. so every success, every bottle, every gel, every bend, every win, every cheer, every anything good happening to Sky that could drove them mad was important (on here and twitter) for me. Porte, Porte was so hated, and Rowe. Porte's wins, Rowe leading them in echelons, contribuiting to Sky success and teeth grinding of the haters was great.
none of my friends, girl, family, know I'm a Sky fan. when I turn the tv/phone off, I'm normal ahah.
I never bought a Pinarello or had a Sky-tv subscription.
I cheered Sky because it was Froome's team. even if he didn't ride the race, I cheered his team mates. I wanted the Sky logo on the jerseys to be seen.
Thomas is the only one remaining from those years. he was presente in all the big wins, almost. he still wears that jersey, I need him to be there. when he retires I'll probably won't be that fan anymore.
Just as a reminder.
