I mean, the fact that of the 10 riders marked "very suspicious" on the UCI's list of blood passport riders, 6 were Sky riders is clearly just a coincidence.

And the doctor at the head of the Rabobank organized doping scheme a few years back being a doctor for team Sky now? Complete coincidence as well.

The funniest part was that Rogers and Porte even after sitting on the front and pushing massive turns beat home riders who were sitting in from the wind!

**** Chris Froome, **** Bradley Wiggins, **** Dave Brailsford, **** Bobby Julich, **** Tim Kerrison and **** Team Sky for setting cycling back ten years. Hopefully these clowns are busted soon because if not I'm afraid this is the standard that all others teams will have to follow over the next few years.

Maybe I'm being a drama queen now, but it's one thing to dope your best rider, to dope an entire team is sickening. And to be so goddamn obvious about it... it's arrogant and an insult the fans.

I'll wait to see what the power data estimate chappies come up with on that rather than anything kneejerk. The climb never having been done before doesn't help with identifying just how "impressive" that was. Neither does the fact that so many much fancied climbers got outclassed by a number of more ordinary riders (and not just Sky ones).

Wiggins gaining a whopping 5 seconds on Nibali and 17 seconds on Taaramae isn't exactly eyebrow raising, with neither of those being considered top drawer climbers and neither being regular features in the Clinic. Nor was Wiggins getting unhitched by Evans but managing to just about crawl back to level pegging with him. That was Wiggins clearly on the limit.

As for Froome, he continues to test my credulity to breaking point and as in the Vuelta, he appeared to have plenty more left in the tank there but was constrained by team orders. Froome has now performed at his best in consecutive years when recovering from diseases. A pattern that was hard enough to make sense of the first time round. I'm clinging to him being born and raised at altitude, but surely he'd have made a quicker impression in the sport if that was a major factor? The reality now facing us is that if Froome doesn’t belong in this sub-forum, then he is the greatest cyclist on the planet and by some margin in terms of climbing ability, endurance and recovery.

Sky must be inwardly delighted he lost a minute or it'd be the Vuelta all over again. I know I am.
